Ο Άγιος Παντελεήμονας γεννήθηκε στην Νικομήδεια, στα τέλη του 3ου αιώνα Μ. Χ.
Μαρτύρησε για την πίστη από τον Μαξιμιανό, ο οποίος του ζήτησε να αλλάξει την πίστη του και να γίνει ειδωλολάτρης, αφού δεν τα κατάφερε με τα λόγια, τον υπέβαλε σε σκληρά μαρτύρια και στο τέλος διέταξε τον αποκεφαλισμό του Αγίου.
Την μνήμη του Αγίου Παντελεήμονα την γιορτάζουμε στις 27 Ιουλίου.

Saint Panteleimon was born in Nicomedia, at the end of the 3rd century AD.
He testified about the faith from Maximian, who asked him to change his faith and become a pagan, since he could not do it with words, he subjected him to severe martyrdom and in the end he ordered the beheading of the Saint.
We celebrate the memory of Saint Panteleimon on July 27.
