★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A real gem in Platanias. High up kind of on the backside of the mountain you see from the main street you find this cosy restaurant. A family feeling kind of restaurant.
I had the lamb chops in pepper sauce here along with an Amstel beer. Great food and service. A great restaurant that I make sure to visit at least once everytime I come to Crete.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic food and atmosphere, best place to eat in Platinas! They serve the best Lamb Kleftiko I tasted. And the prices are very good, not expensive at all, and all is top quality. House wine very good and only 4€ a glass. Excellent service and very friendly people. You have to try this!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was walking by this restaurant when George one of the family members was standing outside, late evening. Like a saint he said you are welcome at anytime.
Day after something just told us in our 8 person group to try it out, we went to the restaurant late around 2300.
George saw us and got happy, the staff organized a table.
Service, staff and most important the food was a gift from heaven.
Even the kids loved the food.
We stayed as the last table. Coming such late and getting amazing hospitality and food can just say wow.
What was charming our waitress called for his mother in kitchen, and the mother was cooking the food.
Day after we decided to visit the restaurant once again but earlier around 1900.
When we came the entire staff was so happy and warmly welcoming us.
Food that was ordered anything from tzatziki to beef fillet, lamb kleftiko, shrimp souvlaki and kids food was delicious.
Unfortunately we came across Agioklima to late upon our return.
The staff and the food gives us another reason to revisit Platanias.
