★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Σαν να το ήξερα ότι δεν έπρεπε να έρθω από την οδό Αθήνας. Μετά από βροχή ,στα τελευταία μέτρα, δημιουργείται λακούβα με λάσπη και υπάρχει κίνδυνος το αυτοκίνητο να μείνει στη μέση του πουθενά.
Αυτό όμως που με τίποτα δεν μπορούσα να γνωρίζω εκ των προτέρων είναι το απαράμιλλου κάλους και ομορφιάς εκκλησάκι του Αγίου Φανουρίου που έχει κτιστεί εδώ.
Η προσεγμένη λεπτομέρεια, η τάξη και η αρμονία των χρωμάτων ακτινοβολεί πολιτισμό από μακριά. Το απαλό παλ μωβ χρώμα του ιερού ναού σε συνδυασμό με τα καινούργια κεραμίδια και τις μικρές πέτρες που έχουν επενδύσει τις εξωτερικές κολώνες μοιάζουν σαν παρτιτούρα κλασικής μουσικής. Η μικρή ταμπέλα που αναγράφει "πλατεία Αγίου Φανουρίου", τα υπέροχα παγκάκια, το πολύ ωραία χωροθετημένο κηροστάσιο και η υπαίθρια πέργκολα απαρτίζουν ένα σύνολο αρχιτεκτονικής καλλιτεχνίας. Όσο κάθεται κανείς σε αυτό το μέρος, τόσο ανακαλύπτει όλο και περισσότερα στοιχεία στα οποία έχει δωθεί η πρέπουσα σημασία. Μέχρι και τα κρεμαστά φώτα του δρόμου έχουν μια "χαριτωμενιά".
Τίποτα δεν είναι τυχαίο. Οι δάφνες στα παρτέρια, τα πυξάρια έξω από το γραφείο του ιερού ναού, η μικρή βρύση κάτω από το μεγάλο πεύκο.
Ελάτε να ανάψετε ένα κεράκι και ο Άγιος Φανούριος θα σας ανοίξει την καρδιά, όντας βέβαιος, ότι θα τακτοποιήσει και σε εσάς ότι σας απασχολεί.
Άγιε του Θεού πρέσβευε υπέρ ημών!
As if I knew that I should not come from Athens Street. After rain, in the last meters, a mud hole is created and there is a risk that the car will be left in the middle of nowhere.
But what I could not know in advance with anything is the incomparable goodness and beauty church of Agios Fanourios that has been built here.
Careful detail, order and harmony of colors radiate culture from afar. The soft pale purple color of the sanctuary combined with the new tiles and the small stones that have lined the outer columns look like a score of classical music. The small sign that reads "Agios Fanourios Square", the wonderful benches, the very nicely located candlestick and the outdoor pergola make up a whole architectural art. The more one sits in this place, the more one discovers elements that have been given due importance. Even the hanging street lights have a "charm".
Nothing is a coincidence. The laurels in the flower beds, the boxwoods outside the office of the holy temple, the small fountain under the big pine tree.
Come and light a candle and Agios Fanourios will open your heart, being sure that he will arrange for you that concerns you.
