★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το χωριό Πρόδρομος πήρε το όνομά του από το ναό του Αγίου Ιώαννη του Προδρόμου. Παλαιότερα το χωριό λεγόταν Δραγουλας. Η εκκλησία είναι μονοκλιτη βασιλική με τρουλο που έχει προσκολληθει στον παλαιότερο ναό του Αγίου Δημητρίου. Τους ναούς ενώνουν καμαρες ενώ το κωδωνοστασιο βρίσκεται πάνω από καμάρα που ενώνει το ναό με το απέναντι σπίτι.
 The village of Prodromos took its name from the church of Agios Ioannis Prodromos. Formerly the village was called Dragoulas. The church is a single-aisled basilica with a dome that has been attached to the older church of Agios Dimitrios. The temples are connected by arches while the bell tower is located above an arch that connects the temple with the house opposite.
