A very pretty bay, good place for photos, a few inviting looking restaurants, I sampled one, good food and good value. Plenty of boat trips go from here, blue cave or shipwreck beach. It's a bit off the beaten track but in my opinion well worth a visit.

Nice place with many visitors . Good taverns to eat and places to buy souvenirs. From there stars a boat to shipwreck . You pay 15€ each and the boat gets you to the shipwreck that you can swim there for 20 minutes ... And then gets you to the blue caves . Worth every penny ...

Have your faith in humanity resorted by visiting this port. We were moored here for a few weeks with engine troubles. Not only did Dimitri and his crew assist us in our time of need, but they welcomed us to their town with open arms and warm hearts. It is a beautiful little port with a ferry to Kefalonia everyday during the summer months. Take a boat tour to the blue caves or the shipwreck beach or a walk to the lighthouse, or just chill in one of the many beach side restaurants. It depends on the tourist trade and thus caters well for it, but prices do reflect this as well. If arriving by boat, don't be put off by the guys welcoming you to the dock, they are not their to rip you off, rather to welcome you to their town. Mooring is alongside on the Southern mole. Here the north east winds and the wake from the tour boats can make it uncomfortable and the height of the dock can make it difficult and damage your topsides if you miss a fender. On the west dock it is stern too mooring and Dimitri and his team are always there to help out and keep an eye on the boats. There is still uncomfortable swell from the tour boats, but the winds will not affect you as much here. Anchoring in the harbor or the bay just to the south is possible.

Cute little port. In addition to the boat docks, mini beach and a short row of restaurants, you will find cafes, a small supermarket and a gas station. Especially from 17/18 clock it is worth to come and stop in peace in one of the restaurants and enjoy the view of the harbor and island. During the day, the small harbor is unfortunately crowded with noisy tourists, who are shipped in bulk from buses to the boats to go on the shipwreck tours.

Quiet, clean, sandy beach where you can do watersports such as jet ski, paddle, "pedalo", para sailing, towed buoy... 2 Chairs and 1 umbrella for 8€ in total for all day. Last but not the least, great cocktails at St Nicholas Beach Club.

What an amazing place, we visited Saint Nicholas on our last day in Zante and took a private boat to the blue caves and shipwreck. Our skipper was a great guide and really informative - thank you. We had lunch in a little taverna at the end of the road as pictured which was nice but very rude staff which I did not experience anywhere else on the island.
