★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Speaking of a grand view here, DON'T expect plenty of shade. I have visited the place at sunrise, sunset and midday, if you want cool temp colours with a touch of purple and aight breeze go in the morning, it took us around 15 min to get up there by car from Kamares. Be prepared if dizzy there are a lot of turns.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A steady walk to the summit but very little shade so go prepared with hat and sunscreen. Take water and food to sustain energy as it is a climb both up and down. Great views from the summit on to Kamares beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the first Cycladic church we visited during our 2014 Greek trip. We didn't get to visit the interior, but we were impressed by the simplicity of these churches. But the trip up was well worth it because from up here, you have the most incredible view on Kamares and it's port, as well as the north end of Sifnos. Quite breathtaking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Steep road until you reach the church. We were in a bus and I felt closer to god even before reaching the church.
Small church, nothing especial about it. Simple and clean.
Still, the view is really nice, would have made a great photo At sunset.
You can have weddings there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just getting there on a 50cc motorbike in two was an adventure. The road is entirely paved but the last section is veeery steep. From the church terrace you have a stunning 360° panorama over the Cyclades. Check out the nearby map of the Cyclades to understand which one is which. Take some beer or a bottle of wine with you and soak in the wonderful sunset. Drive carefully! A wind jacket might come in handy too.
