★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ισως η πιο απομακρισμένη εκκλησία της Σίφνου. Γιορτάζει τον 15Αυγουστο αλλά η λειτουργία γινεται 17 Αυγουστου. Ξεκινάει καραβάκι από τις Καμάρες. Οποιαδήποτε άλλη μέρα ειναι επισκέψιμη με κόπο από περιπατητές. Πληροφοριες για το μονοπάτι από το sifnos trails.
Με το που μπηκα στο ναό μυριζε έντονα μέλι από τα γνήσια κεριά και οι εικόνες του τέμπλου ήταν επιβλητικές - ολοζώντανες.
Υπέροχη η θέα καθως και ο περίβολος με τα βοηθητικά κτίσματα και το πηγάδι που μαζευει τα νερά της βροχής και μάλλον έδωσε το όνομα στην εκκλησία.
Perhaps the most remote church of Sifnos. It celebrates on the 15th of August but the service takes place on the 17th of August. A boat starts from Kamares. Any other day is easily visited by walkers. Information about the path from the sifnos trails.
As soon as I entered the temple, there was a strong smell of honey from the genuine candles and the images of the iconostasis were imposing - alive.
The view is wonderful as well as the precinct with the auxiliary buildings and the well that collects the rainwater and probably gave the name to the church.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful secluded little church, in the most savage part of Sifnos. You can reach it from Kamares or Apollonia with the track n. 6, the absolute best of all the carefully signed on the island. Mind only that is very long (about 6 hours if you do the full loop) and with steep parts under the sun. I wouldn't recommend in summer, only spring or autumn, unless you are very fit. The landscape and view (and churches) are amazing though.
