S	Steve G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I emailed George a couple of months ahead of my trip with several detailed questions. Each email was answered promptly and courteously. I ended up selecting a road bike that suited my needs. I rented a lightweight 105-level Cube with fast aluminum wheels. Very satisfied with the entire package, including a fair delivery/pickup cost for Lourdata (the van showed up on-time both occasions). I brought along my own tools, shoes and helmet so all I needed were extra CO2 carts (not airplane friendly) plus a floor pump which George kindly let me borrow. I did not feel rushed during bike delivery and he gave me a map of the island while taking his time marking up recommended routes. Top notch customer service. Just a quick side note: if your personal bike at home is a Dura-Ace level carbon fiber racing machine, don't hesitate to rent an Al frame with 105 componentry--it was a nice reminder how a "cheaper" bike still gets the job done just as well! It also helps that George keeps the wheels trued and bikes tuned up nicely. Here's your chance to feast on astonishing coastal route views, ascend forever from Argostoli up to Mt. Ainos and explore gorgeous rolling hills all over the island!

The bike was perfectly set up and I was provided with pump, tube, tools, map etc. George was really helpful in advance with great communication as I decided to go and pick up the bike in person as my rental car was big enough although George would have delivered if needed. The guys in the shop were really helpful with suggested routes etc. The island has some amazing cycling. The roads are fantastic, and in much better condition than UK roads at the moment. I was staying in Ag Effimia and can recommend the main road to Fiskado passing the viewpoint to Myrtos beach and Assos. The climb up and over the Poros is amazing too. There really are so many options and such lovely scenery. George and his team at Ainos Bikes provided me with a great bike that allowed me to explore this beautiful island early morning before it got too hot. Would definitely recommend! Thanks!!!!

He did it immediately very accurately and immediately checked everything else. Really very great store and he even speaks perfect English.

We emailed that afternoon and the response came the same day, with the replacement bike ready to pick up first thing in the morning. Great set up and so helpful. They supplied everything I needed. Most importantly, there was no loss of cycling time! Kefalonia has great roads and beautiful scenery - I’d definitely recommend it for a cycling holiday.
