★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leaving the beach, and with treks ahead and behind us, we came upon the aroma of a yummy grill. Following our noses, we found ourselves at "ALEKOS'S garden". Spacious, green, sunny, and with the sea breeze blowing, sitting down was an easy choice.
We had the recommended burger and a gyros. Fries were good, salad was fresh, and the meat was juicy and delicious. Happy to say that they also make a solid Margarita.
I was particularly impressed by the waiter. He was available when you needed him, absent when you didn't, and showed great patience and service even through a minor misunderstanding. In good humour, we asked for a couple of (plastic decorative) monkeys that we saw had been served to another table. Unfortunately, I had forgotten that "monkey" is a term commonly used in the area to refer to bootleg alchohol...
Great food. Good cocktails. Excellent service :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice place, very friendly staff.. Offers takeaway service to the nearby beach or dining.. Hand sanitiser on all tables, staff all wear masks! Food pretty good.. Beer -Ice cold!!! Well worth a look.. great views of the sea.. very nice garden or shaded seating area.. beach nice and less busy than those closer to Star Beach..
