★ ★ ★ ★ ★ we know them since opening and are all time happy consumer. It's not the cheapest taverna in Methoni, but the quality is great, and it is a family run taverna. Also, lot of vegetarian meals, fresh fish, perfectly grilled meat, pork, lamb. The meals each day fresh cooked, so you do not get the same things each day (only "standards"). You can buy organic olive oil and an olive oil creme as well.
It is closed in wintertime.

The restaurant is in the center of Methoni but not where all the tourist restaurants are (that is why not a lot of typical tourists come here).
You can get a lot of traditional Greek food here but they have food for everyone and you will always find something (even if you come 5 times a week ;-))
We have been coming here for several years now and the food and service are always on top.
I can recommend every single food on the menu (ask for recommendations)!!
They do care a lot about their customers and spent fall and winter finding the best cheese, meat… and you can taste that!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Family run business with excellent food which is freshly cooked. The staff are friendly and helpful and can speak a number of different languages. As a bonus they produce their own olive oil which is one of the best I've tasted.

I have visited many of the local restaurants but this one is one I shall be back to soon.
