★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This guy tries to rip people off when returning a vehicle. Heard that he has done it to several customers this year. Took £1000 off one young lady after lying about her being Insured and someone hit her.
Screamed and shouted at her until she paid him money she didn’t owe.
Avoid at all costs. Crook

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rented a car from Alex as I was let down by another provider. His price was very high but I had little option as all other hire companies had no availability at short notice.
The car provided by Alex was a death trap with faulty seatbelts, poor tyres, a dodgy clutch and in generally dirty and tired condition.
I had hired the car from Sunday to Sunday, clearly stated on the hire agreement. On the Saturday afternoon I received numerous phone calls and voice messages from Alex harassing me and demanding that I return the car that night. I refused and said he would have it back on the Sunday morning as agreed. Alex reluctantly backed down but demanded the car back by 0900, I said it would be with him when it was ready.
He then drove us to the airport, also as agreed. Alex was driving like a lunatic and honking the horn at every car and pedestrian he passed.
The guy is a total joke, if you value safety hire a car from anywhere but here.

He really wants you to have the best time and treats you like a friend, and we also really see him as a friend! Before the rent, we almost talked half an hour about his life and where he comes from. He took the time and drove for a mile together with us, just to let us feel comfortable with the scooter. The prices are honest and he is the nicest guy. Please, rent your scooter when you are in Gouvia!
