Great little hotel - excellent price to quality ratio, tidy room with a well-renovated bathroom, and nice views from the balcony. Bonus points for the best restaurant in town. Disregard some of the previous angry comments from clearly one upset individual - I can attest that we were staying there at the same time and we NEVER experienced the slightest hint of rudeness from the staff, quite the opposite - possibly the friendliest hotel staff we’ve ever met, all of them. Classic case of the customer needing to look in the mirror and analysing whether perhaps their own actions have caused them being kicked out of the hotel ;)

Absolutely amazing stay at the Alexis Hotel here in Chania. The owner, Theo was an incredible host and was extremely welcoming and helpful. It made us feel like we were staying close friends! All of the staff were very kind and helpful, calling us cabs, printing our boarding passes and even sitting us down upon arrival and writing down recommendations on a map of Chania. Our room was wonderful and clean, complete with a balcony with chairs, perfect for a happy hour before heading down the excellent Theodosis restaurant. This restaurant served the best food we had had during our travels and had a wonderful ocean view. The zucchini flowers and pork chops are a must try! We ate there every night due to the amazing menu and impossible to beat prices. Chania itself is a charming town with lots to do but the Alexis Hotel made our time here truly worth it and special.

Very nice and helpful staff. Food was good and not to far from the beach. Would definitely stay there again

The staff made this wonderful hotel feel like home. They were beyond warming upon our welcome and the hospitality did not stop there. We were provided history on the town, a guided map tour of how to get around and the best places to check out while in Chania. While staying we were informed of the best days to do certain activities and the days when it would be too windy for a safe or pleasurable day out at sea, our best interest was always on their mind. We ended up staying an extra night due to how much we loved this hotel and we can not wait to come back to enjoy it again! You will not regret choosing this hotel as your temporary home away from home as you truly will feel welcomed and invited the entire time. When you stay here do not miss out on a full on buffet style breakfast, filled with so many choices to suit anyone’s preferences and for dinner, wow you literally will be rolling us out of here. We came every night and tried out the menu and every night we left so satisfied with happy and full bellies of honestly the best food I’ve ever had. Not to mention, amazing prices! The hospitality extended beyond the hotel staff to the restaurant too, the bartender and servers were welcoming, catered to dietary needs and made each and every meal feel like we were eating with the family! You have to try a variety of the food because you will not want to miss out on anything. I am writing this dreaming of the next time I’ll be able to enjoy the food and the hospitality of this beautiful heaven again!

The staff are all very friendly, but I have to point out a gentleman from Norway who was at the reception (I don't remember his name) for his friendliness and for all the tourist tips. The hotel restaurant is simply fantastic and the food is wonderful. At breakfast level it was reasonable. the cleaning of the rooms was reasonable, I hear days that the bathroom was not cleaned. overall our stay was good.

A nice quiet hotel with good facilities for its size. The food, cleanliness, and staff were amazing. I stayed by myself and when I return to Chania, I will definitely stay there again. Great value for money and extremely helpful staff, they helped book excursions and hire cars. A hidden gem surrounded by beautiful beaches.

The location is great, because it is between the town of Chania and the beaches. Their staff was extremely nice and helpful with every request we had. We also got our room upgraded which was a nice surprise. The breakfast buffet was really solid aswell. They serve freshly made pancakes and waffles in addition to the basic breakfast items. Once more I have to praise the staff, each one of them were very welcoming and they made our enjoyment their mission. 10/10!
