Domes Zeen Chania, a Luxury Collection Resort, Crete - Kon/nou Paleologou

The rooms are clean, perfectly organized and spacious. The view to the sea is mesmerizing. The staff is friendly and always happy to help you in case you have any issues. The location of the hotel is very well chosen, since it provides serenity. If you take a walk on the beach, you can reach the city center in just 30 minutes.

Domes Zeen is a dream! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and special. The resort is gorgeous, breakfast is incredible, and the location is awesome. The pool & beach area are picture perfect and every detail has been taken care of. The rooms are meticulously cleaned. The open air gym is a fantastic added bonus— shout out to the in- house trainer Luna who is super sweet!

We had an excellent stay for 1 night. Front office welcomed us and took us to the room. We were close to the restaurant and pool area so it was perfect. It s only a short walk across to the beach too. The staff was fantastic super friendly and welcoming. The pool is very big and there’s lot of su loungers. We did the half board so diner was fantastic as-well. The breakfast is a huge buffet style it has everything you wish for. There à outside gym, spa, little boutique within the hotel. The spa was outstanding as well. The therapists were fantastic and the deep tissue massage was amazing. Fantastic stay

The architecture of the whole resort was stunning with care taken to every tiny detail. The staff are phenomenal and so helpful at every turn. Breakfast is plentiful, bountiful and delicious. The rest of the meals were wonderful too. The kids club was also so amazing! Honestly, we couldn't fault much. This was our first holiday post COVID and with a toddler and it was made so sublime and easy for us every second. A complete dream.

The best resort we have ever stayed at. Beautiful modern rooms, excellent amenities, polite and pleasant staff and excellent breakfast buffet. The service was truly exceptional. We particularly enjoyed the complementary kids club, wine tasting and cocktail session. Everything was above and beyond expectations. A truly 5-star experience. We would love to have the opportunity to go back!

A beautiful hotel with an amazing view and the staff is very friendly, BUT for a five star hotel, they’re not at the level. The staff seems to lack the proper training and seem completely disorganized. They seem trained to say things to customers that are awkward and sometimes uncomfortable. Example: we expressed discontent a few times and rather than finding a solution for us, they would stop us, ask us to talk for a few minutes to understand what happened and then just apologize by saying they were interested in feedback. It felt very unprofessional and not the kind of interaction you have at a 5 star hotel. The wait times for meals were too long… there was a 30-45minute wait time to receive our food. If we asked for bread or a menu, we would wait too long or have to remind them to get it. Getting a drink around the pool took 20 minutes. Check-in was ridiculously long. They make you have a drink outside whether you want it or not. They spend too much time talking in the rooms, asking questions about us that they don’t even follow-up on. They also follow some sort of covid protocol where your luggage is disinfected, so we didn’t get our luggage for 45minutes, when all we wanted was to enjoy some time around the pool. I had to call 3 times. It’s really a shame because from the outside everything seems perfect, but you’re really not getting your money’s worth. Also, this is a family resort, so couples without kids, this isn’t for you.

Loved this hotel and plan to go back. Everything was great!!!! The service is fantastic. The staff is very professional and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed ?? The only issue is that if your room is located by the pool and restaurant it is a long walk to reception. They do offer rides in golf carts, but there are times when they are busy. So, if you need to be somewhere, make sure you call early to get a ride up to reception.

We enjoyed an amazing stay at Domes Zeen, staff & service were excellent, very polite & friendly, Food was similarly top class and the buffet breakfast in particular has everything you could possibly want, and plenty of it! Our room was spacious, very comfortable, and well fitted. The main pool has plenty of sun loungers and a good size for those who like to swim a few lengths as well as relax. If I had one minor suggestion for improvement it would be to make the cocktails a little stronger, although my health is probably better off for it! We'll definitely be back!
