The best restaurant on the island. I’ve eaten here twice and might be back twice more before I go. Had the tuna steak and then a selection the second visit. Yum!

Tried this place a couple of years ago and it was fine. I was presently surprised by how they upscaled the food. Ordered the quinoa salad. It was was nice. For entrees our table ordered the fish and chips and mojitos pork belly slices. Food was hot and delicious. It is great for lunch and driving by last night it was packed for dinner. Service was terrific and restrooms very clean.

Top restaurant on the island! It has the friendliest staff and the food is beyond every expectation! Really worth it to visit and spend a relaxing day by the beach! (Sharing some photos of the view)

Try it for fresh fish, we were very happy with the quality, and a nice view to the Analipsi port. We ordered vlyta, fava beans, and fresh fish (red mullets, white seabream). The environment and decoration resemble a taverna-style eatery but the menu has many gourmet twists. Prices have gone through the roof unfortunately, that is the 4-star for. Service is relatively good.

Amazing restaurant, nice location, calm and peaceful by the sea. In the beginning you expect a local Greek taverna with simple traditional tastes and then you realize that there is far from that also. Friendly staff knowing the menu and treating customers very politely. Highly recommended and maybe the best restaurant in Astypalaia.

If you are into more gourmet cuisine then Almyra is a nice place to visit. The menu is not long but the plates they offer are all made of fresh local ingredients and served in a very appealing manner. The prices are on the salty side but after a meal you will certainly feel it was worth the cost. The housewine was good. The service is great and the atmosphere friendly. We tried fish and seafood and are very happy with the result.

An inexpensive meal right by the jetty & small port, a great spot to have a meal, a cold drink and to simply people watch. The potatoes were cooked just right, with their jackets on, but crisp and full of flavour with a light covering of salt. The rose wine was served in a chilled glass as was the small Mythos lager, keeping the contents cooler for a little longer. The service was very good, but this is something that you expect from Greek hospitality, and Almyra is no different. The food is served with a smile and the question "how was your meal?" always seems to be asked with genuine curiosity rather than being a legal requirement as it is back home in England. To sit, to relax, to enjoy the location and the reasonably priced food was so great. 5 years ago we arrived on the island in early season, before this restaurant had opened, so we missed out then, but not this time. The only problem is that with so many fine and reasonably priced eateries and restaurants it's too hard to chose which one, and to return often seems like missing out on something enjoyable and special elsewhere. Too little time, too many great choices ?.
