Aloni Villas - Epar.Od. Faraklaton - Agias Efimias

Fantastic pair of villas a short walk from what is surely one of the nicest villages in Greece, Agia Efimia. Aloni Villas consist of two comparatively compact (2 bed), villas and a huge pool, set into the hillside. Management of the villas is truly top notch, with quick fixes to any issues, even in these difficult times and the villas are full of nice touches; a fridge full of essentials on our arrival and bathrooms chock full of quality pampering products. Pool and BBQ area has a fridge and a load of pool friendly crockery. Again, well thought out and perfectly executed. Location wise - the walk back from town can be a bit of a challenge at 13:30 in the baking Greek heat (40 degrees on our visit), but it's a breeze at 23:00 after a couple of Fix's and the road is very quiet and safe for kids. Only 20mins to the very far end of Ag Ef (maybe 5 or 10 mins walk to the closest restaurant). Worth noting that the villas can be taken as a pair or let out separately, so if you prefer to not engage in chit chat around the pool with 'friends you've never met' (definitely not our thing), then take both villas on. They are effectively semi detached, but close enough to each other that a family can spread between the two with ease. Highly recommended and a great family villa.
