Beautiful villa with the best view to the Agia Efimia gulf. Everything is super clean and the kitchen is very well equipped! I have to highlight the great king size bed. Dionisi gave us a kind welcome and was incredibly friendly and helpful.

The villa and surrounding area is beautiful. The service was excellent, and the hosts most welcoming. Perfect for a dreamy vacation in Kefalonia!

We enjoyed our stay, particularly swimming in the well maintained, good sized pool. The surrounding gardens of the villa provide a lovely setting while the large terrace overlooking the sea beyond was perfect. Thanks to Dionisios for sorting out a couple of issues really quickly. Hope to return!

We had a truly fantastic memorable stay here and in kefalonia. Everything was so excellent. The villa was very clean, spacious with a great outdoor space and lovely pool. A short walk to the love harbour town of Agia efimia which has excellent restaurants and things to do such as boat and car rental, and lovely small beaches with crystal clear water perfect for swimming. Fantastic location for accessing other places to visit by car, such as myrtos beach, antisamos beach and Fiscado. Fantastic family run taverna with delicious food and drinks directly opposite. Dionisios was so friendly and helpful, which made everything so easy. We will have to come back!

We spent almost a week and difinitely we will come again! Very clean place and hospitable guests!

We are a family of 4 (children aged 8 and 10) coming to the end of our much needed and longed for stay at Horizan Villa 2. It was a last minute booking having been let down on a number of occasions due to COVID so a bit unplanned but we hit the jackpot with our stay. It's exactly what we wanted. Firstly, the villa is situated in a village which is not too busy and not too quiet with good amenities and loads of places to eat. Three little pebbly beaches briliant for skimming and swimming and never crowded. The villa is stood in a lovely garden with lavender, shrubs and other varieties of plants. Due to it's location, it has spectacular views of the sea and mountains from the pool, balconies and hottub which we have used most mornings and early evenings. Each evening at around 6pm we hear the peaceful jangling of the goat bells and the bleating goats coming in for the night in the hills surrounding us. The villa is peaceful and comfortable and has everything you could need and if it's not there, then the owner and his sons are just at the end of the phone and are happy to help if they can with anything you require. The beds are comfy, bathrooms and air conditionig on every floor, villa is clean and fresh towels provided every few days. Even beach towels are supplied, which as a family is really useful, as they take up so much room / weight in your case and are used daily. Smoothy maker, microwave, fridge and tv on every floor (not that we needed the tvs but the kids did use them a couple of nights) much needed washing machine, outside bbq with coals provided which we used a couple of times. There is also a rustic restaurant frequented by locals literally opposite the villa. On one night they even brought over freshly cooked moussaka and local wine to eat on our balcony. It's a 20 minute (timed on my phone) walk to the main harbour down a steep main road but this was not an issue at all for us and we enjoyed the excerise and the views. (We agreed that the terrain is much it like the lake distict in England) We got a taxi home most nights for 5 euros and the taxi drivers were helpful and friendly and so we arranged for one taxi driver to also took us to Sami one day which was 20 Euros. You can get a Euro bus to Fiskado and we did contemplate it but there aren't many and we weren't very organised! We spent the first week relaxing without a car second week we explored the island with a car which is soo beautiful. Not too far from Assos, Fiskardo, Mrytos, Anti Samos and Melassani Lakes and Drakoti caves and other toursit must sees which was good for the children who get bored if travelling for too long.. Pool is perfect, sunbeds very comfy and sturdy. Small grass area where the kids played bat and ball and football. Table football and gym equipment which to my suprise also got used! Lovely veranda poolside which we used quite a bit, again with views to the harbour and the sunset on an evening. We have felt very relaxed and safe in this villa. The owner and his family have bent over backwards to help us with all our paperwork and other admin and to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Even collected us from our first residence in Agia Efimia so we didn't struggle with our luggage. Tea towels, fairy liquid, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls and washing machine tabs supplied on arrival with a complimentary bottle of wine. Attention to detail is spot on. I would definitely recommend this villa to couples and families alike. A car is recommended but not a must if you are prepared to walk and taxi home from the centre. If you are thinking of coming to Kefalonia, and this villa, do not hesitate you will not be disappointed. Get in touch with Alexandros Alexatos the eldest son he is fluent in English and is his communication skills are faultless. We will be very sad to leave but very eager to return which is toallty against our philosophy of never returning to the same place twice!!...
