Great family friendly hotel. Absolutely spotlessly clean. Nice meals by the pool but we ate out a lot. On site shop is handy. Is quite a walk to the beach if you struggle walking but do not let this put you off as we walked there and back twice a day.

I discovered Alykes Garden Village 6 years ago and have been back every year since. Really good sized rooms and facilities and a truly meant welcome and hospitality from the family. It attracts many people who come back year after year so regulars will meet up with kindred spirits and become long term friends. Beautiful quiet location but plenty of restaurants and bars close by and the beautiful calm beaches around the bay at Alykes beach. Food is excellent with a large pool. Sunbeds always available even at the busiest times. Hoping to go back later this year and already booked for next year. Why Zante is on the Amber list in a mystery to me - I am more worried about Covid in the UK than I was at any time in Alykes. Take advantage of really cheap deals on TUI and book a safe holiday at Alykes Garden Village this year.

Spent two weeks here on a TUI package. Jimmy and Soula are excellent hosts and they have a really lovely place to stay. Very quiet and relaxed with a lovely view of the mountains from our balcony. We had a fab time and would recommend it to anyone. It has a large and lovely pool which is spotlessly clean. We chose Alykes because we wanted to be away from the busier south of the island but wanted to explore the beaches and coves of the whole island. Nowhere is more than 30-40 mins away by car, so this was the perfect spot. The closest beach in Alykes gets quite busy, but has sand, lots of sun beds and crystal clear water. If you prefer a more secluded spot the northern end of Alykes (about a 10-15 walk or 3 mins in the car) is almost deserted even in august. There are pebbles there at the waters edge (but sand once you are in) and no sun beds, but shade from the trees and peace and quiet. It was our first trip to Zante and we were blown away by how beautiful the island is. Amazing forests, beautiful olive groves, rocky beaches, Sandy beaches and we saw turtles swimming in Laganas bay. A fantastic holiday (but watch out for the august heatwave!).

Having had holidays to Zante cancelled in 2020 and again in July 2021 none of our usual Zante apartments had vacancies when we were able to travel. We found Alykes Garden Village by accident but it looked fine on paper so we took a chance. Absolutely no regrets! We were made to feel extremely welcome and our stay was relaxed, everyone on site was friendly and helpful, the food was great and the general ambience was one of laid back calm. We had various requirements which Jimmy, the proprietor, was all too keen to help with, ensuring we had rooms to meet our needs. Emails were answered almost immediately and Jimmy even did his best to source a hire car for us. The rooms were spotless, very spacious, in great décor and well appointed. Beds were firm but comfortable, seemed to be made up every day and linen and towels were changed routinely. The grounds are immaculately kept and the pool is plenty big enough and quite deep. There are plenty of sunbeds and everything is clean and serviceable. The location is fine and the general neighbourhood is clean and tidy. However, it is some distance from the centre of Alykes, possibly too far to walk for some. Jimmy will happily sort taxies, pony and trap etc. and many hire a car anyway, so it can be easily overcome.

So just got back today from Alykes Garden Village- what can I say - we never return to the same place twice, but we did this one and was even better than 2 years ago, Jimmy, Shula, Mum and the family team are just the best hosts, would do anything to make our holiday better, was Jimmy and my partners birthday in the week so we had good celebrations and they even got a birthday cake. Accommodation very clean, gardens and pool areas were spotless. Very safe covid hotel, took all the responsibilities around this very seriously,. … oh and the potato salad is to die for.Thanks to everyone x

Beautiful hotel in quiet location with wonderful hosts. This was our first stay and won’t be our last. The hotel is set in a quiet location, approximately 15 minutes walk to the main road, bars and beach. On site there is a large pool, and small children’s pool. Plenty of space, sun beds and umbrellas. Hygiene and cleanliness was of a very high standard and we felt very safe. We had breakfast everyday in the snack bar. There was a good variety and I particularly recommend the Greek Breakfast. The rooms are large, well equipped. In particular it was good to have a big fridge and freezer space. Our hosts were very friendly, and Jimmy recommend some restaurants to us, and booked tables where necessary. We’ll be going back next year!!

My wife and I spent a week here in Early May. We were delighted with the attractiveness and cleanliness of the whole complex and the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The setting and views of the mountains and countryside were stunning. A highlight was also the exceptionally clean and well kept pool with plenty of quality loungers and large umbrellas. We would have no hesitation recommending a peaceful holiday there and intend to return in the future . It was about an easy and pleasant 10 minute walk to the excellent local beach and there were several really good local restaurants nearby.
