★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Legitimate hospital on the small island of Amorgos. We visited with a patient in anaphylatic shock (food allergies) in spring 2019. There was nursing support 24/7, a resident doctor there most of the day, and an attending doctor on-call at all times. Patient was admitted to the single "emergency room" then spent the night (we were the only group there the entire time). The resident doctor spoke good English. The facility is nothing fancy, but we were comfortable and they saved the patient's life! Thank you Amorgos Hospital!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I sprained my ankle while hiking and came here to be seen. The staff was very kind and took me in to be seen immediately. They spoke good English and I felt well taken care of. Not ideal to have to visit the hospital on vacation, but glad they were there and treated me so well...and for free!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I arrived at nearly midnight on a Monday needing stitches for a cut on my chin after I tripped. The service was quick and excellent and I left after about half an hour with instructions for follow up care and a second vist for a check up. The doctor and the nurse spoke excellent English, as did the pharmacy staff in Aegiali.
