B	Brady Skjervem on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful experience. Free transport from the port as well as to the airport. The rooms decor is classy, clean, and welcoming. Initially we were booked at their hotel “with the rooftop pool.” It was a tad busy with kids and my wife and I were looking for a quiet place to relax. The owner graciously transported us to their other property (Ampelos Suites) and it was perfect. Very hot water, air conditioned, and spacious room. (Bathroom is a tad small, but it’s europe. It’s expected at a boutique hotel) You have access to the rooftop that had wonderful chairs and tables to sit and relax at night. Honestly the sunset view from the roof is one of the best in the city. You can see the portara, the city, the castle, the ocean, and a perfect view of the sun sinking into the ocean. Having just come from Santorini, the view was similar if not better. You are a 3 minute walk from the local square, where you have bakeries and restaurants. The beach is a 7-10 min walk down the Main Street. The pier is less than a 10 minute walk. It was a perfect location. Would highly recommend.

Only draw back was it was hard to get to by car and parking was not next to building. You had to walk, but we like to walk, so it was good. Very safe and secure.

S	Shae-Lynn Degelman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff are friendly and extremely helpful they picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry terminal, the suites are located at the top of a hill with an amazing view but also a quick two minute walk to the town square, five minutes to the beach and down town area. The suites are kept very clean and were tidied daily. DEFINITELY would stay again !!!
C	Clara Egger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Ampelos Suites in Naxos are a real secret escape. 4 minutes from the old market and the harbor you are in a quiet area, closely located to the beach. Everything is within walking distance and you can also directly rent a car via the accommodation. Facility wise, the rooftop terrace is a real hidden gem, with a 360 view as the second highest building in the area (besides the castle). Even though it can get windy, there is no better and more peaceful place to enjoy take-away dinner while watching the sunset. There is also the possibility to enjoy breakfast on the roof, which I would definitely recommend. But what made our stay extra special, was the hospitality of the staff. We say a big thank you for an unforgettable stay in Naxos! ☀️

Free port transfer by Lula and she even gave me a few drives when I headed in the same direction. I was given the choice between the 2 entities and I chose the one without a swimming pool but with a gorgeous terrace view and slightly closer to the port and the Old Market. The room is spacious, clean, very Cycladic, with comfy bed and lots of natural light and many windows. Air-con works really well. Balcony is nice though it’s too windy for me (Sep) to spend time out there. Wifi is unstable, I mostly use 4G. The breakfast is homemade, delicious and a lot for 7€ but you may want to have different choices each morning. There are many coffee shops and breakfast choices nearby. I only booked the in-room-breakfast for 1 day but I liked it. Bathroom is well equipped. The terrace is perfect for a sunset view even better than a few rooftop cafes that I’ve tried, and it’s free. Definitely a good choice if you would like to stay in walking distance to the port and the main street of Naxos Chora.

We stayed a night in Athens and wanted to do a less touristy island before Santorini. Naxos was PERFECT! Ampelos was a great place to stay. It took us maybe 5-10 minutes to walk to the port depending on how many shops we stopped by. We loved having access to the rooftop. Very clean. Very good location. Very affordable!
