Aeolis Boutique Hotel Naxos - Damariona

Intially the hotel seemed great on paper, yet the reality was quite disappointing. We booked a two bedroom suite, and while the pictures showed a nice and spacious room, we were put in a basement of sorts. The only connection to the world outside was a small balcony, which was also placed half below ground. One of the bedrooms had literally no windows at all, making it quite depressing. Regarding our general stay, we were offered a decent breakfast with a good amount of choices, but nothing spectacular. We were also offered an Easter Saturday Dinner (Paid for in our package, so we had to pay it either way), which, while cooked nicely, was served in a confusing manner. The dishes were placed in a buffet form, yet a staff member insisted on serving us fixed portions (What is the point of the buffet then?). Moreover, after our dinner was over and we went to our room, the staff was moving around the tables and seats in the dinning room, which, happened to be right over our room. This took place at 2am, mind you. This whole dinner situation was repeated with Easter Sunday Lunch, which was served in the same confusing manner. Moreover, the food was not enough for all of us and we had to wait for extra servings. The furniture shuffling situation was repeated once more. In general, I would have given a 3 star review, but overall this hotel just was not exactly worth it.

A nice boutique hotel with a pool right in downtown. Hard to find in downtown- most places don't have pools. Staff is friendly and helpful. AC worked great. Breakfast provided is adequate to start your day and many bakeries nearby in case you need more. All in all, would recommend.

Very run down Hotel and room, the Pool was dirty and the breakfast was of the lower standard. Positive was the lady at the reception, she was friendly and helpful.

It is great to find a hotel in the heart of the city that also has a pool. The hotel is just a 10 minute walk to the beach (with kids) and the beach is very calm and shallow, great for swimming. The hotel has a great breakfast with something for everyone. The rooms are good size and the AC worked well. There are tons of restaurants within a few minutes walk. If you are brave there is parking available, just know the streets are very tight!

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel! It was very clean and the location was convenient. Parking was very easy to find and it was near a lot of tourist attractions, so the car wasn’t always necessary. The receptionist (George) was extremely helpful and polite, he gave us a lot of recommendations for places to visit and eat. It is reassuring to know that such welcoming staff are there always willing to help and accommodate you. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely visit again.
