A class experience. Thy guys in Athens recovered all the data from my destroyed hard drive that other providers did not manage to do so.

You did it Guys, thank you soooo much for recovering my USB stick. You made it happen in only 2 days, cause I told you I'm heading back home next week. Top class customer service, 100% data recovery.

They were very professional and polite, quick and the most important they managed to save the data almost entirely, which is what was the most important and gave us a detailed analysis . However, I did have an issue during the recovery which I believe I need to mention. During the process they forgot to mention that the files should be saved with priority order, in case the disc cannot stand the pressure. So while some files were saved, the most important were not. So, after asking them, they told me to have to do another different intervention to save them. And they reproached me that I didn't tell them since the beginning which files I wanted. Of course I had no idea what happens in a data recovery, and that files are saved in order how could I have told them? It was the other way round, they should have informed me properly. They have done this many times before. This lack of informing me properly from their part doubled the initial price,and it was already an expensive service. They didn't say they were sorry, even typically, they didn't take the responsibility, or offer to do something, lower the price, assume their mistake nothing. They even tried to blame me for not knowing their job and what to say .Which was amazing and obviously a defense, but yet rude and expensive at my cost, which due to the circumstances I found outrageous. I, like most of their clients I suppose, are very happy to have a final good result. I wanted all data, however I think their clients should have this information earlier so maybe they save their important files in the normal cost the company asks in the beginning. Make a list of priority of your files. That can save your file, because your disc may be destroyed in the procedure and not give you time to save it. And save your money of course. And if sth goes wrong, ask them what else can you do. They don't seem very eager to inform. Although I signed to let me know about the disc risks, nothing about how to make sure to save my important file first! Apart these 2 things, all great and recommended.

I want to say big thanks to Northwind and especial Dimitri, for the quick turnaround. i dont know the procedure of retrieving back files, so i wont mention about price, as having back the workfiles of a whole life is priceless.

They did the job but I paid an arm and a leg. Data recovering companies feed on the psychological pain of (data) loss - everybody understands that. It's like paying a heart surgeon. You are glad you are alive and you feel lucky for cheating death. But once you are back you have to pay the enormous hospital bills. They are very professional but I really-really hope I won't be needing them in the future!
