★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a hidden gem. Friendly staff, fantastic food, big portion. According to them, they have their own fishermen, Shepherd, and they grow their own vegetables too. What’s more important, they open till midnight! Highly recommend this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent a week in Crete which started with a few days in Ligaria. Can safely say this was our favourite place to eat/relax for a number of reasons but especially the amazing hospitality of the owner Stella as well as the beachfront view and very tasty food. It also closes very late which was perfect as our Airbnb was very close so we even spent one of the Greek Easter holidays soaking up the amazing evening atmosphere before we left Ligaria. Thanks Stella!

Stella and Katerina are really nice and speak perfectly English.
The quality of the food is absolutely incredible
Every product used are fresh and local.
The price of the food is really cheap 5 euros for starters and maximum 10 euros for a main.
I will higly recommend the greek salad and any meat of the menu but more specially the schnitzel with the sauce.
Do not hesitate to go and eat in this restaurant
It is the best way to eat local speciality.
And the bonus is the dessert offered at the end of the meal served with a local digestiv.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Already before arriving, there is a sense of great anticipation, as the narrow steep road, that takes you down to the beach is peppered with wonderful views. The restaurant is wonderfully located on the edge, with a narrow but very pretty beach. Water is clean and ideal for small children to play in.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious.
Hearing the waves lapping gently on the shore, makes the dining relaxed and charming.
Parking is available roadside, up and downn the nearby street.
If around, definitely visit it. It is worth it.
