★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s hard to put into words how I feel about Mouragio but I will try. A beautiful little restaurant but also so much more! A traditional Greek family run business like no other. The food is amazing and the service is beyond incredible. We have only been in the area two days and we know we will be frequently visiting this restaurant. Stella and Nikos have been so kind and welcoming whenever we have visited, they cannot do enough for you no matter what you ask, I’ve never seen such perfected service anywhere else I have dined in the world. All the food is made fresh so there is a small wait but with the food as good and fresh as it is, it really isn’t an issue. Stella always brings out freshly made free desserts for us and we couldn’t be more appreciative, they are so tasty! It is very rare to see them not smiling, they are always beaming and always treat you like family. It’s just worth mentioning too that the prices are very reasonable so I literally cannot find a single thing to criticise. Thank you Mouragio.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is amazing! Simple but delicious! Even the fríes are delicious. I didn’t ate for long time with so much appetite. At the end of the meal, we received on the house a delicious cake made with homemade apricot jam ??? a plate with fruits and a shot of alcohol. The staff is very nice ?

First time coming to Crete I stayed in Agia Pelagia and after dining in Mouragio and meeting Stella and Nikos I knew I had to come again, since then, year after year, even if I stayed in different part of the island, I made time for a quick visit to have some lunch. It’s like a tradition now. Spectacular views, great service from people that will surely become your friends and the food…DELICIOUS! Made with love! If you’re in Agia Pelagia, visit Taverna Mouragio, I promise you it will be one of the best experiences on the island!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great small family restaurant with local Greek cuisine. Breathtaking sea view right on the beach. The portions are quite enough big. Reasonable prices. The dishes are made with mother love and very tasty. The staff is friendly and speak English very well and they know their cuisine. They make a sweet present for us. Cold white wine was intime. The fish and shrimps with cheez were amazing. We had a great time here. Recommend.
