★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved my stay at the Anatolia hotel. I chose this hotel because I wanted something near the Thessaloniki Railway Station. There is a public bus that takes you from the airport to the Central Railway Station for about 2 Euros. It is cheap, reliable and only a six minute walk to the hotel once you are off the bus. The hotel is superb. The staff is friendly. The rooms are nice and have all the amenities to recharge and rest up for your busy day. The only downside was wireless internet access... it was dodgy at times, but still did the job. I was pleased with everything the hotel had to offer. Book a room with the breakfast included. The breakfast is pretty good and well worth starting your day. Overall, choosing this hotel was an excellent decision and I give it 5 stars!

I will recommend everybody to stay there. Next time when I come back to Thessaloniki I will go to Anatolia hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had one night at Anatolia Hotel. The room was very clean and cozy. The only thing that was annoying were the ants that were walking on the floor.
The breakfast was very good. We had a room at the front street but it was very quiet despite the traffic road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The prices are reasonable but wouldn’t recommend it. There is no parking and it’s impossible to find free space on the allies around it. The location is also a definite minus. Lastly, visitors’ interests do not seem to be the main priority of the hotel management. I am not sure whether this hotel deserves a 4-star rating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed a few nights at this hotel in Thessaloniki after a 1 week stay at halkidiki so naturally I will compare it to over there.
Pros: Nice decorations, feels a bit exclusive compared to other hotels.
Friendly staff. Sauna and steam bath available. Nice Russian store nearby.
Breakfast was really tasty with enough things to choose from!
Cons: Room and hallway smells like smoke. The smell is carried through AirCon too. Girlfriend got migraine and could not handle it.
Pretty far away from restaurants and ATMs.
No mosquito net on balcony and boy are there a lot of mosquitos!
Overall: Alright for a quick visit but smoke smells from hallway and room walls need to be taken care of before I go back.

The room I was originally in smelled of cigarette smoke, so I asked to be moved, and they were able to accommodate that, which was great. The beds were very comfortable. It's a decent location, although a bit far from the White Tower and other sites.
