★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το λες και κρυμμένο μυστικό της ευρύτερης περιοχής του Βόλου καθώς οι περισσότεροι ντόπιοι αγνοούν τα μεγάλης έκτασης τείχη που κάποτε προστάτευαν την πόλη και την ακρόπολη της αρχαίας Δημητριάδας. Ανεβαίνοντας στον πρώτο προμαχώνα πάνω απο την συνοικία Αιβαλιώτικα αντικρίζεις συγκλονιστική θέα 360 μοιρών. Έπειτα συνεχίζεις την κορυφογραμμή ακολουθώντας τα τείχη . Το μέρος είναι ιδανικό και για πικ-νικ. Κατάβαση πάντα ακολουθώντας τα τείχη μέχρι που συναντας έναν χωματόδρομο που σε επιστρέφει κάνοντας κυκλική πορεία στα Αιβαλιώτικα. Η τέλεια βόλτα για παρέες διάρκειας με μεγάλα διαλείματα περίπου 3 ωρών.
 It seems like a hidden secret of the wider area of Volos as most locals ignore the large walls that once protected the city and the citadel of ancient Demitriada. Going up to the first bastion above the Aivaliotika district, you see a stunning 360 degree view. Then you continue the ridge following the walls. The place is also ideal for a picnic. Descent always following the walls until you meet a dirt road that returns you making a circular course in Aivaliotika. The perfect walk for groups lasting with long breaks of about 3 hours.
