E	Explore Agios Nikolaos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Υπέροχη πεζοπορία αρκεί να ξέρεις τις ώρες των λεωφορείων από Ελούντα για Άγιο Νικόλαο. Άλλη λύση είναι μόλις ανεβείτε στην εκκλησία και ξεκουραστείτε, να γυρίσετε τον ίδιο δρόμο πίσω! Από τα μοναδικά μέρη που βλέπεις Άγιο Νικόλαο και Ελούντα μαζί! Τα αρχαία σπίτια και οι μικρές δεξαμενές που υπάρχουν θα έπρεπε να συντηρούνται σε καλύτερη κατάσταση για όλους! Wonderful hiking as long as you know the bus hours from Elounda to Agios Nikolaos. Another solution is to go back the same way as soon as you go up to the church and rest! From the unique places you see Agios Nikolaos and Elounda together! The ancient houses and the small tanks that exist should be maintained in a better condition for everyone!

Вид потрясающий. We ascended from Elounda on foot in 2.5 hours. The trail to the top was closed, but that did not stop us. Having overcome 3 fences, we reached the goal of our trip. The view is amazing.

Μέρος κατάσπαρτο από αρχαιότητες και καταπληκτική θέα τόσο λιμνοθάλασσα της Ελούντας όσο και στον κόλπο του Μεραμπέλλου και τον Άγιο Νικόλαο A very interesting walking route starts in Greek and ends in Oxa. A place dotted with antiquities and amazing views of both the lagoon of Elounda and the bay of Mirabello and Agios Nikolaos

L	Lynge Poulsgaard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience. Oxia is easy to climb and does not take much time. Be mindful that the way in car is by small rocky roads with lots of debris on them. So if you have a smaller car perhaps consider taking the trip by foot. Go from Erounda, as this is the shortest and best preserved road with the least obstacles. Our rented Peugeot 208 had a hard time keeping up with steep hills, unsure surfaces and big rocks on the road making it quite a long drive to the starting point of the trek for us. The view from top is great though, and worth all the efforts, really a spectacular experience!

Only down side is a small factory part way up, which doesn't seem to be bothered with their rubbish blowing about.The route is marked to the point that overlooks Elounda and its best that you stick with it .
