Excellent position, with beautiful views. Exceptionally friendly and efficient personnel. Nice food. Great breakfast, with ample choices with local ingredients. Big, clean rooms, very beautifully designed.

I would not recommend this hotel for Folegandros. Folegandros is a beautiful, lovely and warm island with such character and charm. This hotel is devoid of all of that. It has a lovely setting but has been decorated and filled in a generic lifeless way, certainly not to a standard expected from a 5 star boutique hotel. The staff is friendly enough and the view is nice of the Harbor. But the cost of the hotel and the experience you receive do not equate. Staying at Provalma or Lithia Villas is a much better use of your time and money. Pros: / Beautiful Landscaping / Picturesque Architecture / Pleasant views of the harbor and from the pool / Pleasant staff Cons: / Lacking all uniqueness and character / Mediocre decor (for example, headboard is an oversized photo of an abandoned pallet in a field...) / Out of date fixtures + amenities (thermostat can't read the temperature and aircon went out/off every 1-2 hours throughout the night) / Generic, okay food served in what looks like ceramic to go containers / Bathrooms are meh, okay sized bath, but try to use the shower (which is fixed on the wall beside the tub and the whole bathroom gets soaked. Also you will not fit under the shower head if you are above 6' / 180cm. / Rude management In reply to your ludicrous accusation of blackmail, as I demand or extorted nothing from you. My review has nothing to do with the service provided, as mentioned you had friendly staff. I haven't complained about the staff. I now have an issue with the staff & the slander you lay here. We showed up "last minute" as our need was last minute. It wasn't something for which we could plan in advance, so we did what any hotel guest would do: contact reception as a part of our search for solutions. Reception was as helpful as they could be and we appreciated it. The pool/restaurant staff was acceptable: the cocktails were not made as ordered, service was sporadic/slow, some of the staff weren't very familiar with the menu, but they were all very friendly. When I mentioned the aircon was the first time I had been to reception that day, it was my friend who had spoken to reception previously and very briefly just about the transfer, we wanted out of the hotel asap. As I told the manager, I wasn't inclined to call at 3am in the morning and have to deal with maintenance (if they were even on site) coming out to repair it in the middle of the night. I was exhausted and trying to get what sleep I could, which I think is entirely understandable. I mentioned the issue the next morning as any guest would. The aircon malfunctioning (it repeatedly cut out every hour or so throughout the night leaving the room very hot) throughout the night wasn't a highlight of the trip & was a negative point for the hotel, but it was not the only one. As my review states above, there were other points prior to that and as the point of the review is a personal opinion, I stated mine. To accuse me of blackmail for not liking your hotel is abhorrently poor customer service & shows the character of this hotel. I was asked to write reviews of this hotel for travel outlets & social media agencies. It is standard protocol to not notify the hotel/venue of this so that the reviewer receives an authentic experience. When our plans changed & we needed to stay on the island an extra night, I came to the front desk to enquire about the room's availability. I asked if there was a better rate available as I am entirely entitled to. I was entirely transparent with you about my subpar experience. The rate you offered was more than I thought the room was worth, which is entirely in my right to decide. so we went elsewhere. There was no blackmail, no exploitation, just a difference of opinions. I appreciate that a negative review isn't pleasant, but it is my opinion and as I've mentioned above the majority of the negative review was in regards to the physical space of the hotel and not the staff. It just isn't worth the cost in comparison to the experience and alternatives. Personally attacking a reviewer for their opinion is shameful.

I wouldn’t really recommend staying here, especially for the price. There are many much better places to stay on the island. The staff were not overly helpful, the toiletries were low quality and we were charged just to get some water while using the gym. Definitely not a five star hotel in my opinion and not worth the money. I’ve stayed in hotels across more than a dozen Greek islands that were much better than this at a fraction of the cost.

Great staff, very helpful. Decent food, nice wine selection. Grapes and pomegranate in the garden to pick as one likes.

Very nice staff and dog friendly ? But, priced incorrectly. We stayed in a sea view room (400sh euro) for a night that had the same view and size as a room we later moved to that was of a lower category (300sh). The hotel is right in front of the main road so you will see the view through that. It is not a busy road but because this is not featured on the photos so it feels like a catch. The property is big and beautiful but the restaurant and pool are in the same small area. Meaning that if you want to take a swim in the morning, you will be in the direct view of all the breakfast crowd. The location is not that great either. You can walk to the port but there is no sidewalk. You walk next to the road. This is OK during the day but at night it seemed dangerous. So renting a car is a must! We barely got one during the summer season so book in advance! The restaurant was delicious. Breakfast amazing. We liked choosing everything from the menu. The restaurant staff was particularly nice. Overall, a nice hotel but disappointing if you are expecting luxury and this is the hype that you get from their branding and website.

We really loved our stay here. The bed was extremely comfortable, the breakfast really delicious and all of the facilities top notch. You could happily stay at the hotel or otherwise it served as the perfect base to explore the rest of the island from. You won’t regret it!

We spent a night here on our honeymoon and had an excellent experience. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and easy to reach from the port, with transportation included. Even better was the hospitality. The concierge was extremely helpful, giving us recommendations for beaches, dining, things to see, and transportation. The hotel also went out of their way on so many little things to make our trip even better. Whether it was rushing laundry/ironing service, keeping track of ferry delays for us, or keeping breakfast open a little bit longer so we could eat, we couldn't have asked for anything more from the staff at Anemi. My only suggestion for guests would be to rent an ATV/car as taxis are rare. We loved Anemi and hope to return someday!

First of all, the room was nice and big! The bathroom is huge and it has also Thierry Mugler shower gel. The lunch is greek and yammy. The dinner was fantastic, with greek touch and everything was fresh. I reccomend you the kakavia soup and the beef cheeks. The Mosaiko dessert was the best dessert i ever had. Staff was excellent, with nice vibes and really helpful. Thank you!
