Ampelos - CHORA

Beautiful hotel to spend a few days of relaxation. The pool and views are wonderful. You don't want to go to the beach, you want to stay at the hotel! Its owners are very friendly. They picked us up at the port, recommended the best places to eat, lent us an umbrella for the beach... And everything was spotless. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Well, this a cozy, family owned, great little hotel with view directly into the wonderful Chora. Divided in comfortable separate rooms located around the pool. Room is spacious and each one has its small little garden where you can relax. Owners excel in friendliness and helpfulness which always is a great plus! Highly recommended if u r looking for a peaceful, tranquil and within walking distance to the center, hotel! I had a wonderful stay there and will be definitely going back ?

This was the highlight of our 3 island visit to Greece this summer, thanks in large part to this beautiful resort where we felt at home for four days and three nights. Theo and his lovely wife are some of the nicest, most genuine people I have ever met in my travelling adventures (I've been to 90+ countries) who went out of their way to help me book a rental car and have the best possible experience on the island. His restaurant recommendations were spot on (I've had some bad experiences in the past with hotel proprietors in the past but definitely not here), as were all of the other suggestions for the island. The location of the resort couldn't be better (just a 5-10 minute walk into the center of Chora) with a beautiful view over the city, the rooms tastefully designed and very comfortable with a lovely patio where you can relax and chill in the evenings. It's not often I feel sad to leave a place, but I really felt so much at home here that I didn't want to leave. The stay was worth every penny even in the high season of august all I can say is that I highly highly recommend this place!!!

Positive: The atmosphere in the hotel was very pleasant. The room and the outdoor areas were kept clean all time including the swimming pool. We had a very beautiful view from the balcony overlooking the Chora and Panagista. Our hosts (Thodoris and Areti) were very welcoming and accomodating. Thodoris volunteered to give us a lift from the port to the hotel and back again..

Felt both luxurious and cozy at the same time. I loved this family run bed and breakfast and hope to stay with them again in the future.
