Not to be missed Brilliant fish food restaurant at the end of the promenade in Agios Prokopios. Must have the sardine salad for lunch with a Greek salad and wine. Head back down in the evening for roast lamb or pork or the fresh fish for two. The boss Mikey is a typical Greek host with Vasilias your Maitre de and entertainer for the evening... Watch as the restaurant fills up with all the locals... Head inside to see the chefs at work and choose your food from the dishes all on show. You will not be disappointed. Just served a fabulous fruit dessert...

Excellent restaurant. This is a low key restaurant but you will notice it is always busy. I tried it out of chance and I was more than pleasantly surprised. I think I will downgrading some of yhe other restaurants in the area for which I wrote a review. Food and service excellent. I had the souvlaki which was tender very tasty, succulent and filling. Together with a Naxos salad and a coke came €16.60 which is a very reasonable price. As I was eating, they were preparing the evening special, small pig on a spit. I think I found my date for the evening ?. I also noticed they did the Classical Greek dishes stuffed peppers and tomatoes etc. Being Greek I can they reminded me of home cooking just by looking at them. I think you will not be disappointed if you give it a go. PS We are group of friends ("Food Magnets group" ) named as such since we are attracted to what seems to be good food. However, as we have been disappointed we started marking out of 10 all food places we visit. So far 10 is reserved for those places we know there will not be deposed from the top. If you want to experience Greek hospitality and eat very well, then this is the place for you. Great taverna, very friendly service. Even the locals like to eat here and that speaks for itself. OMG!!!! One of the best lamb and seafood we ate in Greece. My boyfriend already ate here few years ago and took me here today. Everything was delicious. I would recommend to try their Lamb chops (one of the best on the island) and if they have fresh lamb on the spit definitely go for it. And always ask if there are sweets, we managed to get one (galaktoboureko) and it was sooo delicious, it just hit the spot. I will definitely go there again. Also their prices are reasonable, their wine selection isnt super big, but their barrel wines pair well with the food (white for fish, red for meat).

The best place and best restaurant in Agios Prokopios on Naxos. Friends of us have been there frequently in the past years and we met there and spent wonderful dinner evenings at this place. Excellent local food and so friendly staff. The restaurant changed it's name in the recent past - not sure if it shows under the correct name on Google Maps.
