★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best places to visit on the island. It is worth the mile to drive as the owner is super friendly. You will not experience this anywhere else, as you feel like at home. The food is delicious, the wine is great and especially the view. This is a must visit and we wish all the best to the owner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best and most authentic greek food I have ever had. The host is a wonderful storyteller and even better cook which makes this places an absolute gem on the Island. Angelas doesn't have a menu, at least not the one you expect, but Maki gives you a quick tour on the kitchen so you can see what's being cooked today. Then you help to properly set up your table (don't worry, if you ever set up anything from IKEA, you will be fine ;) - and in the end the heavily good food is being served. Take as many things you can eat and more as you will definitely lick your plate. 10/10 and will be back within few days.
P.S. Ask Makis to show you pics of few famous people whom been there, including very tanned Jude Law himself! ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most wonderful and authentic Greek home made kitchen tavern. All food is made fresh that day in a traditional slow cooked method. Highly recommend if you ever get the chance. You won't find anywhere more authentic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were waiting to be seated as he literally took us to the kitchen. We thought there is a hidden way, but he took us there to show all the food they were serving that day, as there is no concrete menu, and it depends on what they have cooked for that day. The meals were very delicious, the baklava was great and the view could not be better. It was great charming experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous restaurant run by Mr Makis who was absolutely one of the nicest locals we have met. He was sweet to show us the options as we went late in the evening and the food was so much nice. He cooks with love and that was so much seen at his dishes. Gorgeous view during the day and the house wine was nice. Thanks

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great concept, executed perfectly. The food was amazing, prices are more than convenient, and the atmosphere is what Greece is all about. The road there is a bit difficult, but it is completely worth it. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my friend were on a long walk and stopped by the taverna. We were instantly made to feel welcome, greeted with biscuits, and were invited to the kitchen to see what we would like to eat. The best Greek food i have had, all homemade with love. Also the best Tzatziki i have ever had. The view from the roof garden is beautiful. We were walking from the next town over on a very hot day, so he gifted us cake and oranges for our journey back. He was an extremely kind soul and made us feel very at home. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Make sure to look for the tortoises while going upstairs too! I don’t usually leave reviews, but i just had to for this amazing place!!!!
