Home grown ingredients and the meat is from their farm. This is a must to visit if you are in Corfu , traditional taverna , amazing hosts and fabulous food . See you next time. Pete and Michelle

We stumbled upon the place while driving twisting roads on a dark night, needing directions to our Airbnb. Michael, the owner, was so kind and helpful, with decent English, that we decided to come back for dinner the next night. We are SO glad we did! Michael and Anna have created a home away from home, where they serve foods almost entirely gathered from their adjacent organic farm. Following the old taverna tradition, they invite you into the kitchen to see what they have prepared for the night—amazing dishes like marinated octopus salad, bronzini (sea bass) with lemon and garlic, rich beef stew with a complex, cinnamon-scented sauce. And on and on—all with ultra-fresh produce and even fresh pork and chicken from the farm. And then maybe an olive oil cake for dessert, or fresh yogurt topped with their grapes simmered in cognac. And of course wonderful homemade wines! Anna and Michael are gems, sharing smiles and love for their mountain home in Corfu. Don’t miss this one!

Their great foods are made from fresh products and with love! Not so many choices on the menu list, but all that listed are what you should not missed!!! However they have always special MENUS of the day ??? House wines and homemade Grappa are also recommend to try ? Prices are standard, quality is worth more than the value. CASH payment only! v	voytekpawlak on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place where we were driving along narrow serpentines. We liked the starters very much. Wine - ok. We ate lamb in sauce and fish. We were encouraged by very good feedback. However, I was worried about the size of the fish. She was small among a mountain of potatoes and tomatoes. The fish, of course, was tasty. I'd like to give 4.5 stars. The hostess was very nice.

Firstly of course the owner, who is very attentive and caring. We had our dinner here 6 out of 7 evenings of our vacation. As a regular customer Michael (the owner) even asks you about your food preferences for the next evening and always manages to meet them! Great views around and quiet place!
S	Sam Foulsham on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Romantic Taverna is a beautiful, atmospheric restaurant sat in a little hilltop village overlooking the east coast of Corfu Island. The lady who served us immediately made us feel welcomed and comfortable as she sat us at our table at the front of the building. Just as we were struggling to decide what we wanted to eat, we were invited to have a look at the food to get an idea of what was on offer. The smells as she lifted the pan lids to reveal the fresh, home-cooked dishes were amazing! For starters, we had a honey baked feta and some roasted veg with feta and herbs. As our main we tried the traditional Corfiot dish pastitsada. All of this we highly recommend. On top of all this, we were even treated to garlic bread and a brownie ice cream dessert on the house! We were surprised with how little the meal cost us compared to the great quality of the food. If we ever visit Corfu again, this is where we will eat. Thank you so much for a lovely meal.

The owner takes care of his food so well. He took us to his kitchen and showed us what he had fresh and can cook for us. We loved how loving he was to our little boy. We also had his home made rose which was good! Highly recommended! Very reasonable prices as well. We had lots of things and bill was just near €50
