Once we stepped out of the boat it felt like heaven ! Angelos like an angel landed on earth ,so sweet and friendly ,was waiting for us - cute as ever and hospitable like no other!( he texted us whilst on our way with all the details one needs - he is beyond helpful ) He drove us to our room which was gorgeous and before we know it he offered an upgrade (that was a bargain not to loose) for suite no6 which is on the third floor. We didn’t hesitate ,not for a second. Once you see the suites you’ll know ! Third floor the views were stunning , sunset , the port , the sea .. our own little private balcony !it was perfect. (I have to warn you though there is no lift, you have to take the stairs . Angelos will make sure all your personal belongings will be in the room before you even know it) Super clean, with lots of freebies to munch on when you are in a rush to enjoy the island , yet what won my heart - NESPRESSO . They refill the capsules everyday and it’s just beyond me how beautiful it is to have your coffee in the balcony every morning. For those who love design boutique hotels this is the place to be ! Angelos is super helpful , incredibly hospitable and his to do list is one to follow . Don’t go to places that he doesn’t recommend specially if you are there for a small period of time. We did go to a “no go” restaurant assuming that it cannot be that bad and we did awfully regret it. It’s our paradise now and we are looking froward to revisit next year ,mind you we don’t like to go twice at the same place - and Angelos made Alonissos experience the first place to return to! Also he might be able to spot where the seals are so you can go see them - I’m telling you Angelos himself ,let alone his suites ,is the sweetest and most welcoming human being you’ll ever meet!

There's a reason why this place has the maximum review score no matter where you look - tripadvisor, google, booking etc It's definitely one of the best lodging experiences we've ever had so far! The suites are absolutely superb, beautiful views over the bay and port, so much thought, attention and care put in every little details. This is an amazing family ran business and Angelos, the host, is a talented artist who harnesses his creativity when it comes to elevating the guesthouse experience in terms of hospitality. As a guest you will feel spoiled, pampered and nurtured - you'll never want to leave. You simply have to stay here if you're on the island, there is no other place you can choose that beats this, trust us and the other hundreds of tourists who have stayed here and have said the same:)

I had an amazing stay at Angelos Design Suites. The rooms are extremely beautifully equipped with lots of detail work. You will see another detail every single day, and you will notice very quickly how much heart and passion Angelos put in his suites. He is an amazing host and always there if you need help or have any questions. The bed was super comfortable and everything extremely clean. Balcony has a beautiful view on the sea. There really is nothing negative I can say about Angelos Design Suites. I even stayed longer than I had initially planned. I definitely recommend this place to everyone visiting the island. I had to do an online seminar during my stay. WIFI was exceptional and everything worked well. I have traveled quite a lot in the past, and I had not yet seen an acommodation as beautiful as this! :)

Ok, this place has 9.8 at Booking and 5 at TripAdvisor - so our expectations were very high. And, unbelievably Angelos managed to beat that. This place is just perfect and the guy is everyday thinking how to improve the perfect. He is there all the time, anything you need you can get. Rooms, design of the house, the view from the balcony is perfect. On top of all that there is service level. To go from ferry to the hotel is 3 min, but Angelos is still picking you up from the port. Love this place”

Angelos Design Suites is from every aspect the perfect place to stay! Angelos is an exquisite host, so helpful and friendly, with a unique passion for his job! He gave us the perfect suggestions for our vacation and generally made us feel so welcome!! The apartment was perfectly clean and decorated with a unique taste and attention to detail, offering all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend it to anyone!

A dream comes true. Angelos Design Suites are absolutely outstanding. The harmony between colors, lights and interior is just breathtaking. The suites are located centrally in Patitiri and most of the beaches are very close. Everything is clean and of high quality. Angelos himself is very to helpful and very obliging - extraordinarily service. Thank you!!!

Incredible experience! Angelos does know how to take care of his guests: from the port pick up, sightseeing recommendations and very friendly atmosphere. The room design is well though out, you immediately feel like at home! Everything was perfect!!!

Angelos Design Suites, Patitiri, Alonissos: June 2022 A place where stories unfold...later to be told.... “The place I return to...where I am given to remember who ‘I’ am....” The design suites sit in an elevated position, nestling on the hillside, overlooking the village port and beyond, out to the fathomless leagues of the open sea.... First and foremost, I went out onto the balcony to experience, in person, the commanding view, photographs of which had, on line, drawn me in so irresistibly.... The vista lived up to...and passed beyond all expectations.... The balcony itself was spacious and as much to my mind, like an outside room, very nicely furnished with comfortable loungers to spread out on, and a generous table upon which I could eat and drink or sit with my laptop. There were also balcony curtains (to manage the sunlight) and a swing chair in which to indulge. And there did ‘I’ sit, many, many times, experiencing ‘being’ in the infinite moment of the here and now, and revelling, in stricken awe, at sunrises and sunsets, of such profound affect and influence, as to leave one wondering whether yet the ancient gods of Olympus dwell still in this blessed realm.... My inclination, free-spirited to the last, is to believe that they do.... The Suite 06 was beautiful and seamlessly interwoven were expressions of natural coastal beauty, set against which the sleek lines of chic designer furniture moved in enticing symmetry, to quietly engage and impress. The bed was sumptuously plush and I contentedly slept upon it...like a top. The bathroom was the nicest I’ve personally ever had on holiday before, and the shower probably the best I’ve ever used any time, any place, anywhere.... The Suite was immaculately maintained for the duration of my stay. The suites are located a very short stretch from a mostly sleepy waterfront, disturbed only by nautical arrivals and departures occasioning amiable fits and starts of muted hustle and bustle in between times...and so a gentle stroll back from one of the local tavernas, cafes or other ‘watering holes’ is as comfortable comes as comfortable goes. The setting is tranquil and the surroundings, quiet and peaceful amidst the gentle pipes and whistles of the rising and falling chorus of birdsong. It is the perfect...the ‘perfect’ location in which and from which to absorb the magic with which this Island, beguiles and intoxicates the unwary traveller... heart, body and soul.... Giving his name to the design suites is a reflection of a reality one must perhaps experience to fully appreciate.... So much personal devotion, love and care has Angelos clearly poured of himself into this enterprise in which the words of Mahatma Gandhi: “The best way to find yourself is in the service of others” has been taken to heart and adopted as the foundation upon which he has created something very personal, very unique and really very profoundly wonderful. I am not exaggerating. On the most finite level of perception he understands what really matters when it comes to establishing the perfect context within which the individual dynamics and chemistry of any given holiday experience can be transcended into something special on a level way beyond the gift of others to convincingly replicate. He’s a lovely guy and this is his passion, and he will help, in every which, way and when, to enable you to have the holiday experience most of us can only dream about. I mean it.
