Якщо їхати туди не дуже далеко, в межах години, воно того вартує An interesting place for those who have never been to caves before, or for children. The cave is not big, but beautiful, the museum is small. If you go there not too far, within an hour, it's worth it

This position is one farm. the Petralona Museum is after the village, on the slope of the mountain, not at the foot of it ... everything else is misleading information !!!

P	P E on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ένα απο τα πιο ενδιαφέροντα μουσεία που μπορείτε να επισκεφθείτε στην Χαλκιδική είναι το Ανθρωπολογικό Μουσείο των Πετραλώνων. Το 1979 άνοιξε της πύλες του για πρώτη φορά στο κοινό. Οι επισκέπτες έχουν την ευκαιρία να αποκτήσουν σφαιρική γνώση της Προϊστορικής περιόδου στην Ελλάδα,να θαυμάσουν ευρήματα απο το διάσημο Σπήλαιο των Πετραλώνων αν και τα πιο αξιοσημείωτα ευρήματα που φιλοξενεί μέχρι και σήμερα το μουσείο είναι τα αντίγραφα του μαυσωλείου του Archanthropus Europeus Petraloniensis. Πολλά απο τα εκθέματα χρονολογούνται εκατομμυρίων ετών. Τα περισσότερα απο τα εργαλεία που βρίσκονται τοποθετημένα στο μουσείο είναι φτιαγμένα απο πέτρα και οστά και βρέθηκαν στην περιοχή της Νέας Τρίγλιας στην Χαλκιδική. Το Ανθρωπολογικό Μουσείο των Πετραλώνων απέχει 35 χιλιόμετρα απο την Θεσσαλονίκη. Για το 2021 θα παραμείνει κλειστό γιατί γίνεται ανακαίνιση. One of the most interesting museums that you can visit in Halkidiki is the Anthropological Museum of Petralona. In 1979 it opened its gates for the first time to the public. Visitors have the opportunity to gain a comprehensive knowledge of the Prehistoric period in Greece, to admire findings from the famous Petralona Cave, although the most remarkable findings that the museum still houses are the copies of the mausoleum of Archanthropus Europeus Petraloniensis. Many of the exhibits date back millions of years. Most of the tools placed in the museum are made of stone and bones and were found in the area of Nea Triglia in Halkidiki. The Anthropological Museum of Petralona is 35 km from Thessaloniki. It will remain closed for 2021 because it is being renovated.
