If you visit Lefkada for more than a couple of days and don’t have dinner here you will have missed out. This is a family run place that caters to Locals, year round. The food is simply and meticulously prepared, and it is very very tasty. I recommend trying the meatballs, grilled cheeses, spinach pies, and any salad. My favorite was the spicy feta cheese spread, and “talagani”.

Very nice family business. The dishes are prepared on the grill and taste delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very original. The prices are moderate. Thank you for the lovely evening

Perfect restaurant to heave a nice dinner. Seems popular by locals and has great typical dishes with high quality products. The kitchen is a little slow but that's no problem at all because what's leaving the kitchen is just amazing. Plenty details to make it a perfect place to dinner: - Cold beer glasses - Nice music - Great typical dishes - Good red house wine - Very friendly waiter. It seems like a family business, not sure about it, but great job!

The food was amazing! There are no words to describe it. Each dish arrived at the right time, quenching our hunger after a long day at the beach!!

Very unpleasant experience. Most of the dishes we ordered were salty but one of them was unedible. We returned the dish while the waiter was not at all impressed of our complaint and even argued that the sausages weren't at all salty. In the end all the items on the receipt were marked as food/drinks. We had to talk to the manager in order to get our money back for the dish we returned. +1 star for the first time we had dinner there everything was fine. Photos are from the first dinner.

We chose Antivaro based on the reviews and were very glad we did so. In a street just between the main street and the sea promade lies this small cosy restaurant. We spend the whole day outside and have gotten quite hungry so we decided to have several appetizers to try as many dishes as possible. The rocket salad was amazing and came in an edible crust made of melted cheese! It was balanced well and the cheese added a nice crunch to it :) Next we ordered the feta baked in phylo in honey and it was divine - still warm, oozy with the honey and topped off with pistachios. We had the similar dish several times in Greece but this one must have been one of the best ? We also got the crab patties - I've personally never had any so why not try them now. They were very well balanced with the crab meat, soft on the inside and crunchy outside and full of dill. We really enjoyed them, although they tasted a bit better with the accompanying sauce than on their own. As the main dish we chose the seafood platter for two - our eyes were hungrier than us :D but it looked bigger than it was. The shrimps were amazing, grilled octopus was very nice, the fried squid was ok - we could taste the oil a bit but still the dish was very enjoyable and the home made potatoes were a nice touch and really good. The restaurant itself was very pretty, in a quiet area, nice service and we also got a small entre after ordering - really tasty chicken pieces with cucumber. Overall it was an amazing experience and I will definitely recommend them further! With affordable prices, this restaurant is a must visit when in Lefkada.

Found this place by chance due to a wrong turn. And glad we did! Felt local with local owners and local guests. Food was delicious (cheese and fish appetizers, crab and octopus main dishes, wine and complementary homemade dessert) and were mainly per the recommendations of the waiter/manager/owner. Great price for an authentic dinner with fabulous hosts!!

Totally recommend, we went out here for the dinner and order a Cesar salad and grilled seafood, when we waiting for food we got for free beetroots, cucumbers, meat and bread for snack, and after all we got honey cake? Not sure but was lovely and also for free. Waiter and his dad was very kind and asked us about food, trip and everything. Everything was amazing. If you go to Lefkada and looking for good place to eat, I'm honestly recommend this restaurant!
