The area around Veria is today one of the oldest settlement areas in Greece. The historic city is surrounded by beautiful surroundings. From the recently restored park (Eliá Park) you have a beautiful view over the city and the natural environment. One of the main attractions of Veria is the historic Apostle Paulus Monument, where Apostle Paul is said to have preached in the 1st century AD.
