Dieses Restaurant liegt etwas abseits vom Zentrum Matalas. Das Vorbeilaufen war aber ein Fehler. Wir hatten heute nach dem Hineingehen ins Restaurant griechischen Salat und Hähnchensouflaki bestellt. Einfach super auf dem Holzkohlegrill zubereitet. Neidisch zum Nachbartisch geschaut, diese hatten Oktopus auf dem Tisch. Also auch das gleiche nach bestellt. Oktopus vom Holzkohlegrill, wow, der beste, den wir bis heute rund um Matala gegessen haben. Bauch übervoll, Finger wundgeschrieben. Der Besitzer und seine Frau waren äußerst freundlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Zum Abschluss bekamen wir noch süße Honigmelone, Trauben und einen kleinen Dessertwein. Nicht ganz billig, aber durchaus seinen Preis wert. Sehr zu empfehlen! We had fresh fish, grilled before our eyes, with breaded and fried zucchini and bread. Everything very tasty! The owner and his wife were extremely friendly without being intrusive. At the end we got sweet honeydew melon, grapes and a small dessert wine. Not exactly cheap, but well worth the price. Vorher sagte uns der Besitzer noch das natürlich alles hausgemacht ist als wir uns erkundigt haben. Alles in allem teuer und kleine Portionen. Auch der griechische Salat war eher klein als groß und am Schafkäse gegeizt. Portion Pommes bestellt, schwimmt im Öl. Portion Zaziki für 3 Euro ist auch ziemlich wenig und ob es wirklich hausgemacht ist ist fraglich. Oven pizza for 6 euros. A tomato is laid loveless fresh on it. Including shank. Meal! ...
