M	Markos Valvis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cosy traditional cafe in Fira town. Nice drinks and snacks for the breakfast lunch or dinner time. The quality excellent.

Then we asked for moussaka, but defrozen pastisio arrived, accompained by the owner inviting us to smell its autentic flavour. We asked for a glass of beer and we were given supermarket cans at the price of 5 euros each. This is the most blatant fake I remember.

Bill was 30euro for 2 glasses of house-MADE white wine and two mains. We felt this was reasonable given good food, but lack of a view. Mousaka was the star of the show, light and fluffy while tasting quite fresh. Gyro meat was a little bit dry, but more than made up for by very fresh and flavourful santorini tomatoes and house made tzatziki. House made wine was light, cold, and refreshing. Picture of our empty Mousaka dish included. Sorry we couldn't include a full plate - it was gone before I had a chance to take out my phone.
