A heavenly retreat! Amazing! Lost for words on how to describe our week in Apanemia but having travelled extensively, saying this one wins hands down says enough. From the moment we entered through the sliding gate, we felt welcome. The owner (Argy) was there, gave us a tour of the property, the philosophy on how they built the villa to blend in with the hillside, olive orchard and the reuse of the stone walls which literally runs through the house. A filled fridge, fresh bread and pie, a well equipped large kitchen and Akrivi with her amazing positive smile who came every day for in- and outside cleaning. Argy shared her passion and enthusiasm for the island and food with loads of tips and help during out stay in making reservations; even getting us into places that were “full”. The house itself - in terms of architecture, interior decoration, location, view, facilities - worthy of all 5 stars. ‘Property pictures’ often oversell the truth; in this case, pictures cannot capture Apanemia. The large windows create a very open atmosphere, electric blinds, beautiful lighting, the space and unique secluded location make it an amazing villa. Large bedrooms with lots of storage. Our son counted more than 50 ‘chairs’ which illustrates how you can always find a nice spot to chill. Sad to leave but looking forward to returning.

This home is truly magical. Incredibly spacious and wonderful outdoor living design for a fantastic holiday. Argy went above and beyond with her hospitality and hosting. She arranged meals, boating outings, and multiple other activities across our 10 day stay. Incredibly clean home with all the amenities you could ask for. Argy's hosting stands out as one of the best we have ever experienced. We are a family with 2 young children and she was incredibly accommodating. Thank you!

An amazing villa. We live in the Netherlands and almost every year we are visiting Lefkada. We have rented many villas. But I can say that this is the ONE and only!!! The house is magnificent, it has everything! The architecture is unique. As is the view. We were impressed from the service, Argy (the owner) made us feel at home. When we arrived she had everything there for us. All goods for breakfast, for our aperitif, wine, even a pan of traditional home made pie. Every day she arranged all the booking for our dinners, rib boat etc. Very much obliged. Akrivi the maid, she was so helpful, kind, and nice. She was there everyday for us. These people know what luxury Tourism means and they do it with expertise.We will definitely come back!

An unbelievable experience. The villa is probably the best on the island. It has everything for a relaxing holiday. Maid, chef, local cook. Argy is the best host ever. We have traveled around the world but nowhere like this, her hospitality was amazing.
