a	aislinnef08 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ - Photos different to actual accommodation - there was NOT free breakfast despite what they say in the google/booking profile - Air conditioning not working - Wifi not working - NOT a fully equipped kitchen, essentials were missing - Toilet leaking & created smell - 200m walk UPHILL to the Caldera (not suitable for older guests) - Very tight patio space - Was not provided with breakfast although it was in our package - Communication with host very poor & poor customer service The above issues were raised and the response was always defensive, blaming us, or a lie. Definitely not worth the money we spent.

S	Sean Cameron on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely loved our stay at Aplada Suites. It’s the perfect location as it’s secluded and private but only a couple of minutes walk to the heart of Oia. Beautiful house with a private jacuzzi to relax in on the hot days. Petros is a legend and looked after us.
Y	Yann Oustric on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a scam, just run away. You might just be unlucky as us and it will ruin your trip to Oia. Reservation was made through booking and here are the facts : - Missing or minimum coocking options but supposed to be a full option kitchen. Oven and toaster metionned in booking equipment but missing. Only 2 forks, 2 plates, 2 vine glass, 1 water glass, salt but no peper. No pan, and the saucepan available was dirty with burnt food. - Non functioning equipment. TV is not working with ductape on cables The air-conditioner is not working The extractor hood is not working Leaking in the bathroom Now the best part is the host reaction whem so many issues were mentioned. Being condescendant , everything was "normal" for him. He responded to everything being extremely defensive. Host bringed equipement from other appartement but did not bothered about properly buying it for this specific one. That's not what I expect from a serious hotel. The best part is the host canceled our reservation from booking and made us paid directly by him in order to ovoid our bad review and claim from booking. Avoid at all cost
J	Jason Roberts on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My stay at this location was fine. I’m not sure why all the poor reviews to be honest. Was exactly like the pictures. I only stayed for one night so I’m not sure if they had 10000 cooking utensils but the building was certainly fit for purpose. My only tip would be that, if you don’t like being in cold water, then maybe get one of the rooms with a hot tub as the plunge pool was cold, and the open area can be breezy.

Hosts are very welcoming and provided plenty of support reserving (fantastic) tables for sunset dining and wine tasting or just by recommending things to do on the island. We find the location to be perfect as it is on the opposite site of the very busy Oia coast. So no all-day passing-by tourists, quite at night, sunrise breakfast, and still very close to the hotspot (3min walking distance). I cannot understand the very poor ratings of one star, maybe the managers/hosts have been replaced. Sure, it is not the kitchen which you are used from your own home ? And prior to booking, it is advised to look at the picture to identify which kind of apartment one is booking (basement vs. villa).
