He had nothing to show us. Untapped without exhibits. Too bad because of London friends and Sicily came naturally disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το Μουσείο της Αλεξανδρούπολης, είναι καινούργιο. Η επίσημη έκθεσή του θα εγκαινιαστεί στις αρχές του 2022 και πρόκειται να περιλάβει εκθέματα από όλο το νομό Έβρου. Είχα την τύχη να δω πως στήνεται αυτή η έκθεση κι ειλικρινά ανυπομονώ να τη δω τελειωμένη.
The Museum of Alexandroupolis is new. Its official exhibition will be inaugurated in early 2022 and will include exhibits from all over the prefecture of Evros. I was lucky to see this exhibition set up and I honestly look forward to seeing it finished.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το Μουσείο λειτουργεί με την έκθεση της Αρχαιολογικής συλλογής που μεταφέρθηκε από τους πρόσφυγες της Ρεδαιστού το 1922. Η συλλογή ανήκει στο αρχαιολογικό μουσείο Θεσσαλονίκης και ήρθε στο Μουσείο της Αλεξανδρούπολης για περιορισμένο χρονικό διάστημα! Δεν θα ήταν και άσχημο να παραμείνει μόνιμα! Αυτό που αξίζει περισσότερο είναι το συναίσθημα που σου προκαλεί... Άνθρωποι κυνηγημένοι που δύσκολα κουβάλησαν τα υπάρχοντά τους, πήραν μαζί τους και τις "πέτρες" !!
The Museum operates with the exhibition of the Archaeological Collection that was transferred by the refugees of Redestos in 1922. The collection belongs to the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki and came to the Museum of Alexandroupolis for a limited time! It would not be bad to stay permanently! What is worth more is the feeling it evokes in you ... Chased people who had difficulty carrying their belongings, took the "stones" with them !!
