★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting Archaeological Museum of Thassos. Very cheap fee to visit it. There is a possible to take photos without pay. That's fantastic. You can see artefacts from the early antiquity to approximately the seventh century AD

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The entry cost is 2 EUR / person. With that price you don't expect something unique but contravening the museum is very nice. It's a must have for Thassos! Multiple rooms with well organized findings. The ancient market is opposite of the museum but first you have to go to the museum (for the story of the market) and afterwards you shall go to the market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place! Tasos have great history and museum displays it first class. Lots of remains from earliest Hellenistic period. Very good setup like timeline. Also museum is set at the middle of remains of old town. Must visit when in Limenas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great museum with so much to see, from prehistoric era of the island to the Neolithic era all the way to the ancient Greece and even some after classical period. So much history in here.
You'll definitely be in awe with so many statues and history from everyday things that ancient Greeks used to rooms dedicated just to the sanctuaries and temples that are all around the island.
