The main site is within a large tent, but they have a vast area that you can explore. To say this site is impressive is an understatement. You must visit, it’s will preserved and a highlight of our trip. Expect it might be windy and chilly, so bring a jacket along otherwise you won’t be outside much. There is parking, restrooms, and a small fee to enter the area. Also, the views of the surrounding mountains is just beautiful.

Only downside is the marquee-style tent covering the temple, but I guess it's necessary for it's preservation. PS: With bringing a picnic with you!

I look forward to them restoring it enough to remove the tent (though maybe my generation won't see that)
О	Ольга Гальченко on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very remote place. The story of this temple and its reconstruction is amazing. Note, the route from Pyrgos/Olympia is much much better than from Kalamata. The drive from Kalamata took 2h and was rather tricky. The road to Oympia (via Krestena and Andritsaina) is in very good condition and less windy.
