S	Sabine Boehm on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die wunderschöne, sehr gut ausgestattete und stilvoll eingerichtete Villa liegt sehr ruhig am Ortsrand von dem kleinen, abgeschiedenen Ort Prodromi, ca. 12 km von Paleochora entfernt, umgeben von einer phantastischen Landschaft in herrlicher Natur. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von der Eigentümerin Manya begrüßt, die uns mit selbstgemachten Köstlichkeiten und Raki verwöhnt hat. Wir sind leidenschaftliche Wanderer und sie hatte auch gleich wertvolle Tourentipps für uns. Wir verbrachten zu dritt 10 Tage in der oberen Etage und ein befreundetes Pärchen 1 Woche im Erdgeschoss in einer sehr hübschen separaten Wohnung. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche in der oberen Etage ist perfekt ausgestattet. Es fehlte an nichts. Auch ein großer Außengrill ist vorhanden, den wir auch genutzt haben. Besondere Freude hatten wir an den vielen schönen Plätzen im Haus und im Garten. Wir Erwachsenen saßen gerne oben auf der großen Terrasse und haben dort so manche Nacht lange gefeiert und sind dann irgendwann in die bequemen Betten gefallen. Unser "Kleiner" hat sich gerne in der Galerie zurückgezogen. Der neue Pool ist natürlich auch genial. Es war für uns alle ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Der Ort und das Haus hatten für uns etwas magisches, was wir so auf Kreta noch nicht erlebt haben... The beautiful, very well equipped and stylishly furnished villa is very quietly located on the outskirts of the small, secluded town of Prodromi, approx. 12 km from Paleochora, surrounded by a fantastic landscape in beautiful nature. We were warmly welcomed by the owner Manya, who spoiled us with homemade delicacies and raki. We are passionate hikers and she also had valuable tour tips for us. The three of us spent 10 days on the upper floor and a couple of friends 1 week on the ground floor in a very nice separate apartment. We all felt very comfortable. The kitchen on the upper floor is perfectly equipped. Nothing was missing. There is also a large outdoor grill, which we also used. We especially enjoyed the many beautiful places in the house and in the garden. We adults liked to sit upstairs on the large terrace and partied for a long time there and then at some point fell into the comfortable beds. Our "little one" liked to retire to the gallery. The new pool is of course awesome too. It was a perfect stay for all of us. The place and the house had something magical for us that we have never experienced in Crete ...
D	Dalton Noland on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Deze villa is veel groter en mooier dan je zou denken o.b.v. de foto's. Gigantisch huis met heel veel opties om buiten te zitten. De locatie en het uitzicht zijn simpelweg adembenemend en je bent slechts een korte autorit (20 min) verwijderd van Paleochora. Bedenk wel dat je op 550 meter hoogte zit, dus fietsen is alleen voor de hele fitten een optie. Het zwembad lijkt wellicht klein maar daar is in de praktijk niks van te merken. Heerlijk groot en schoon inclusief een sectie voor baby's en kleuters. Het allerbeste is eigenlijk de service van Manya, de eigenaresse. 5-sterren service, en niks is teveel gevraagd. We zijn een week geweest maar ik zou er graag een hele zomer willen verblijven: zo relaxt en rustgevend. Het is een verborgen pareltje! This villa is much bigger and more beautiful than you would think based on the pictures. Gigantic house with lots of options to sit outside. The location and views are simply breathtaking and you are only a short drive (20 min) away from Paleochora. Keep in mind that you are at an altitude of 550 meters, so cycling is only an option for the very fit. The pool may seem small, but in practice there is nothing to notice. Wonderfully large and clean including a section for babies and toddlers. The very best is actually the service of Manya, the owner. 5 star service, and nothing is too much to ask. We have been there for a week but I would like to stay there for a whole summer: so relaxed and soothing. It's a hidden gem!

There are good walks nearby and Paleochora is about 25 minutes away by car - you do need a car. The garden is lovely with lots of sitting out areas.
