Positive: Very clean, huge garden and manager imposed quiet hours.. Negative: 1.2 km far away from sandy beach. No window to kids room..

We were promised a stove to cook for our 2-years-old child, when making the reservation. When we checked in, the owner said he could not provide a stove, and that it is a hotel, not an apartment. Although we had reserved an apartment, and “apartment” is the name in their website. Indeed, it had a refrigerator and a kitchen sink, so that is what they call “apartment”! We were also told that we could come to their kitchen to prepare food for the baby. But when my wife went to the kitchen with all the ingredients to effectively cook for the baby, she was told that what she wanted to cook was real food, and that they do not have time to let her cook real food in their kitchen. They were expecting her to cook blended food, not a soup with chicken meat. They knew the baby was 2 years old, and a baby with this age needs real soup, not new-born food! Finally she managed to make the soup, but just for this time! Secondly, we were not told about the breakfast. No word about it, until we found out from other tourists staying in the same hotel. We eventually went to have breakfast, but I can say that the food for breakfast is always the same, little and poor. Not worth waking up to have breakfast!!! One day, we wanted to drink coffee by the pool, but also took a cold beer from the refrigerator (I had bought it from the supermarket). They do not have Mythos bottled beed at the bar, so I brought mine. It was a big surprise for me to be told by the owner that I was not allowed to drink it by the pool, but 30 m away, under a big tree. I moved and enjoyed my beer there, without buying any more coffee from him. I walked 30 meters, but he lost 2 coffees that I was about to buy from him. Good deal! Another bad experience was that I was woken up at 9 a.m. on a Sunday morning by the very annoying noise of the machine for cutting the grass. I guess there was no other moment of the day to do that, but Sunday morning at 9 a.m. !!! When I complained about it, I was told that these are the rules of the house, and I cannot do anything about it. Either I liked it or not, they had thier rules and that was it. Very welcoming for the tourists! Although they have a barbecue, we were asked for €20 to use it. That was unique experience, nobody has ever done that, wherever we were accomodated before! The door between the bedroom and the other room made a horrible noise, whenever opening or closing it. It woke my child up every night, and we all know that putting a baby back to sleep is so hard. The hotel is situated near a sheepfold, so a very “nice” noise from the sheeps and goats could be heard, mainly in the night, when it was quiet outside. The distance to the beach is about 700 m. We knew about it from the very beginning, but seemed so far away when walking through the burning sun. Still a minus. And, to complete the description, I can say that the refrigerator had scotch strips on the adjustment wheel, not to make it colder. I guess the cost for electricity was the reason for this, because also the toaster had scotch strips on it, also the heating adjustement button. Poor man, he does not afford to pay for electricity! All of these, with paying €90 per night, just in the moment we made the boking, almost 2 months before our arrival! Not worth it! You can find much cheaper accomodation and much nicer people in the area, not so arrogant and respectless attitude, for quite a lot of money! Avoid spoiling your holiday by going to any other hotel!!! Big plus for the cleaning lady! She cleaned everything daily, and she was a very nice lady. In fact, this lady and the garden view are the only advantages of the property. Still not enough to balance the other disadvantages.

Great place, love it! Sparkling clean, lovely garden and pool area, cozy terraces. And Emilios just rocks, see you again, mate!

Positive: Very friendly owner and staff. The communication before the trip was excellent and the check in /out procedures where very fast. The room was like described on booking, large and very clean. The pool, even if is not very big, is just what you need in such a place. Nice and quiet location, with a lot of parking places. We chose to go out every evening with the car for dinner ( 5 min distance from the tavernas zone) and we never had difficulties to find a parking lot on returning. On our returning in Thasos we will book again here !.

Positive: It is quiet and in beautiful surroundings with a very friendly and helpful owner. It is also close to everything we could possibly need.. Negative: If there hadn't been a pandemic going on there would've been more people so the bar would've stayed open later which would have made everything perfect!.

The location offers everything you need for a successful vacation. Large rooms, quiet, green space, pool with bar. The manager is always around if you need anything. Emilios, keep up the good work!
