M	Maria on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were curious since a lot of people were standing in line for this restaurant waiting for a table every time we passed by, so our expectations were high. But for vegetarians probably not the best restaurant to choose and they are probably more known for their meet and fish dishes. We had chosen almost every vegetarian dish: the spreads were average but the Aubergine spread had a funny taste, the cherry tomato salad with local cheese was tasteful, the grilled cheese was a disappointment because it was very dry and had a burnt taste, also the dish had a lack of flavor. The grilled aubergine with tomato was though really good. Altogether though below our expectations.

We chose a meat/seafood mix, where we received the house choice of plates. The dishes we received were flavoursome, but some were a little salty. The meats were very tender.

On both occasions we were given complimentary drinks, a starter, and a dessert with local liquor - there’s a real friendly feeling to this place and the staff make you feel very welcome. Their skerries are incredible - from the potato salad, to the prawns, to the beef, to the salads - all sound so basic but the flavours were delicious. The real magic is the daily specials menu which changes every day, we had the goat knuckle which melted like butter. The octopus was cooked to perfection and again, the combination of flavours was fantastic. I highly highly highly recommend trying this place!

N	Nina Broberg on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place, food was very good. The menu changes daily, a little more expensive than the rest but service is good and they are generous with freebies. Nice ambience too. What the clincher is for not giving 5 stars was waiting 50+ minutes to pay. Yes, the lovely waiter was busy but he kept pushing us back after others who had both arrived and eaten after us. That got annoying. So - by all means go there - maybe start asking for the bill as soon as you sit down ?

Lovely, warm hospitality, a beautiful, tasteful veranda, exceptional food with sizable portions and finally some lovely provisions (pumpkin jam and some spiced dessert wine). There was also complimentary raki and a spicy cheese spread to start. We had a variety of local fried cheeses, crusted in sesame, with apple marmalade. A fluffy green salad with strawberries and nuts with an exceptional dressing. We then had the cuttlefish ink risotto which had subtle and satisfying flavor as well as the grilled octopus in a bed of mashed potatoes with bright cherry tomatoes. The house red wine was cheap and delightful. We finished off with Greek yogurt and a heavenly dollop of local jam. And affordable from top to bottom!
T	The Incognito Chef on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably one of the best restaurants on the island , the menu changes daily , synonymous of freshness, not the usuals Greek menu you find across the whole of Greece , well thought , cooked and presented dishes , the wine list is made of interesting Greek wines , overall good value for money, a little more expensive than the usual Greek taverna but worth it. The owner is friendly , knowledgeable delivering attentive service. In addition you get a free shot of local liquor pre-meal and a free little dessert portion. Highly recommended!
