Food wasn't great by any standard, rice was lukewarm and chips were stone cold. They gave us whiskey glasses for our wine (some tables did have wine glasses it wasn't a wierd quirk of the place) and both members of staff that served us were quite rude then tried to give us a calamari that we hadn't ordered.

I can only describe our experience as bizarre. We sat down and waited quite a while for our menus. When we got them one of the waiters asked where we’re from. When we said we’re from a non English speaking country he said that he doesn’t have menus in our language. Which is weird because everyone form our group speaks fluent English. We then proceeded to order. The first thing that came was the wine and water. Both were warm. Not a huge deal with water but warm white wine is gross. Then came the starters. My saganaki was cold in the middle, hot on the sides and soggy. Definitely microwaved. Another truely strange thing was that our waiter didn’t say anything to us during the dinner. He just kind of mumbled. Then came the mains. My friend who ordered the spaghetti carbonara, got a plate of pasta with mushrooms, ham and cream. She’s allergic to mushrooms. Carbonara doesn’t have mushrooms. She swapped plates with another member of our friend group who ordered the chicken which was super dry. Tasted like plane food. I ordered the moussaka which was tiny, but came with a generous portion of really burnt fries. Why? Might as well rename the dish to burnt fries with moussaka. The moussaka itself was microwaved and had really hard bits of burnt potato? I guess? I even found a piece of aluminium wrap in it. At that point we just wanted to leave so we asked for the bill. The waiter didn’t charge one of the people in our group. When asked about it he seemed confused. We tried again and failed, so we left. I am still very confused and kind of grossed out by the food. This restaurant became an inside joke, whenever we passed it on the way to the beach someone in our group said that were never going here again. It’s kind of funny now.

Not recommended (1 star) if you're vegetarian and want something other than mediocre (possibly from frozen & served lukewarm) sickly fried cheese or a Greek salad. I give it 3 stars because the meat eaters at my table said their sardines and liver were OK.

Traditional Greek taverna. Food and wine was good but service appeared slow.

Vassilis and his brother have been here for a while and put a lot of passion in this taverna. Vassilis is known for his love of life, great taste of humor and he cares a lot about the environment in the area. Get to know him!!! I love this guy.

The owners/waiters were very nice and funny. The food was decent, especially the grilled feta was a highlight. Waiting time for the food was OK as well. Would recommend to go here if you're in the mood for casual dining.

You get what you pay for. The grilled feta as a starter was the best! One vegetarian main dish available, which is still more than most other places in this area ;)

We've been coming to Arillas for nine years now and have walked past this place many times. This year we gave it a try and the experience was not great at all. My wife felt she was being stared at for the entire meal by the people on the "family?" behind us. I asked for an Ouzo and the guy went over the to the shop across the street to by a bottle. The food was well below par, compared to every other place we've eaten at in Arillas. The only upside was the price of the meal. Easily the cheapest place we've eaten at, but we won't be going back. Not very welcoming and and just a weird vibe overall. And the blasting out of opera over the PA system at loud volumes was a bit strange too.
