R	Ralph Capper on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can understand why this place gets mixed reviews. The rooms are variable and the location is slightly rough. Yes, prostitutes work out of the bottom floors. However, our room was lovely, clean, great balcony, etc; the front desk was very helpful and friendly in every way; and we were not bothered in any negative ways. I would suggest, if you are worried, simply to take a taxi home late at night, it's never more than five euros from anywhere in the city at night.
R	Rainer Tisch on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel is much better than its fame. Location and price are unbeatable, the rooms are clean and the bathroom (at least in the 5th floor) is new. Staff, all of them, are friendly and speak good English. The area is not unsafe at all, police headquarter is literally just across the street. But yes, people in the neighbourhood have certain economic activities and drug abuse is frequent. It’s a deprived area in a city full of contradictions. If you don‘t like it, pay more and stay somewhere else. I would come back for sure.

M	Marta Tavares on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ +: close to the metro, only 10min walk from the city center, front desk very helpful and let me check in earlier than expected, wifi worked correctly. -: very old building the room I stayed had holes in the wall and electrical installation is not by the norms, the bed was very uncomfortable I woke up with pain. The windows don't block the sound coming from outside

Reception is super helpful along the process! We had the room with shared bathroom. Wouldn’t recommend it much maybe better see those with ensuite if possible but it was not bad at all. We stayed for two nights :) Maybe negative was it was a bit far from airport bus station in case you have early morning flight when the metro is not yet open. We had to pay for double taxi fare to get to airport for our 6am flight.
