Definitely the best home away from home place I've ever been to!!! The beach is only a 5 minute walk away. And it's beautiful!!! Probably the most beautiful beach I have seen. Also, nobody was there. We could see another 3 people maybe 300m away. The owner is sooo great! So sweet and welcoming. Ask him about what to do/what to see in the area. The whole place is very well maintained. Obviously they care for it very much. Also, it's all in really good taste/style. I absolutely love this place!!! Must go!

My wife and me have been here in late September 2020 which is for Greece still a very nice seaon but avoiding the main tourist crowd in July and August. Asfendamos is a very nice location located in a kind of garden environment with olive, lemon and other trees. The house are made of stone and have enough space to one and another to allow a very good level of privacy. The furniture is tasteful and there is everything you need in the kitchen as well as air condition. I did not uploaded fotos from the houses here as there are already a lot of them available showing the whole place. The see is about 10 to 15 minutes away on foot walking through a nice pine forest. You will pass a large fig tree will is happy to donate some fruits if you are there at the rigth season. The beach itself is sandy and very long. At least at this part there is no service (bars, beds, umbrellas, ...) which we liked very much being more or less alone the whole day. Just a few walkers might pass once in a while. Depending on the wind the sea will be calm or could be as well a little rough. Depending on your swimming skills you might not want to go for a swim if the waves are to high - or you just like it because of this (which we did!). Back to Asfendamos there is a nice and well equipped bar which offers almost any kind of drinks, wine, draft beer, coffee and cocktails. On top there is always the chance for chat with the owner for advises on restaurants or some insight information about Greece and the people living here. To summarize: we really enjoyed and liked Asfendamos, the surroundings and the Greek hospitality of Dimitris. For us it was the very right place for a feel-good vacation right at the end of this summer. I hope that we can come back again one day!
