Spacious rooms. Average cleanliness. Very good garden with grass. Friendly and helpful personnel.

Beautiful house on a great lication in the quiet part of Hanioti. Also very close to the beach. The furnature in the rooms is a bit old but functional.

The hosts are very kind and helpful... Everything is as presented on pictures :) we loved the place and the garden, and surely would recommend it to everyone who plans vacation in Chanioti :) the location of the hotel is very good :)

Beautifull place.Pleasent stay,always clean sheets and towells.Beach is near,good for little kids.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms. Its second year that i choose Asteras hotel form my holidays and sure every year i will visit it again. The place is very quiet and the Best for family vacations with children. Its located near to sea so u can go to the sea without taking the car and also the center of hanioti is too close to go shipping on foot.

Worst experience in Greece I have ever had with my family after so many years of visiting there, anywhere from 2 to 4-star hotels to just apartments. The hotel does seem descent in fact, and I booked it based on photos and user reviews, which made it seem perfect. Outside is well maintained and Gardner does a great job. But, my surprise. The apartment they gave us reeked of moist... it got into everything, beds, lining, furniture... And, when you get out of the bed, it's on your underwear as well... And the bathroom, it was worst of all. More over, when we left our towels on the floor because the mold would immediately get into them as well, they complained we did it too often (every day), and we did it every other day... What got me really mad is that they were perfectly aware of it, but did not bother to do something about it, either clean it properly, not marketing the apartment or offer apologies at least. There are agents that can be used to fight the moist... Just saying. Everyone rated the hotel as excellent and very clean, but in our case, it wasn't just the moist... Cleaning definitely failed as well (sending photos as proof). I dared look under the bed... not a good sight. And the kitchen... Not a good idea cooking in it. And, finally, the parking as advertised, nearby, public, no reservation needed... well I did find a spot 100 m (which was OK) from the gate, after having spent 5 days there and paid for private parking (hotel manager did get to complain though about me parking in front of the gate, just to carry final luggage from my car)...

We just spent 10 wonderful days at Asteras Hotel! We had an amazing, spacious, and very, very clean apartment and the staff was most helpful and kind (thank you Giannis!!!). Chaniotis is such a lovely little town with a wonderful beach and a clear sea! We will definitely come again next year!

Beautiful and clean rooms. And when I say clean rooms I mean it down to the details. It makes an impression at first that you think that everything is new inside the room, but you see it that simultaneously is used!! Great work for that. Beautiful and very well preserved garden with places to sit. I think it's an excellent place to stay, only 200m from beaches and stores, restaurants etc.
