★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst Greek food I had on Crete. Very plane flavours. But if you are from German of France and don't want to take any risk, definitely eat here! Most people are from you country, the waitress speaks your language and they even put on some German TV when you eat. So if you don't want to talk with your family or friends, you can!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good food and super nice people. Making u feel at home and confortable..I ate the Lamb chops and tried the Asteri cocktail and both were so good and yummy..I spent 11euros ? and plus they offered a glass of wine and watermelon from the house ❤ super nice

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited after seeing this place had a 4.6 There was no greeting or welcome. When the waitress approached us we both said hello and got no response, no acknowledgement, not even a look at us. The menu was tossed on the table followed by an "UGHH" grunt. Truly shocked by this disregard for customer service and lack of hospitality. The few customers there didn't look happy and the food looked average to below average. Prices weren't particularly great either. We left and walked around the corner to Bonatsa which was the complete opposite of this. Nice atmosphere, great friendly service and delicious food. Also it's not across from the highway. Best decision was leaving Asteri.
